Also what did your friends post that was racist? Just curiousraises hand:
I know some of my husband's family had to leave their church because it became very obvious that they were being outcast due to not voting for Trump. This is a Church they had been doing good works for years, including going into the community, visiting homeless shelters, etc. It started when they became uncomfortable with the pastor posting (apparent now) Russian Bot info during the 2016, which they would show was not true. Possibly caused resentment, I don't know. There was a church meeting about them a few months ago, and they finally decided to leave. We invited them to our non-partisan church and they seem happy, but I know that stings since they thought those people were their friends, and that they were worshiping God, not Donald Trump.
I have some acquaintances I had to block on social media because I have to associate with them and want to keep the peace. Their racism (which I had no idea) has come out, which upset me. I'd rather be oblivious.
Agree but sometimes people believe posting the Truth about homosexuality and abortion means you’re being “political”Anyone who preaches politics from the pulpit, especially when there is no contextual tie to scripture, should be punished via taxes, etc.
I’m a child of God, but politics should not influence a pastor’s duty to preach and proselytize to his congregation/community.
Sounds to me like they made the right decision to leave the church as far as I’m concerned. Has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with the church’s priorities.raises hand:

If that happens Biden will for sure blow a gasket and the media will say Trump is picking on Joe.So it’s gonna be Trump vs Biden. I’m wondering who Wall Street and big business will endorse and throw money behind. Factor in Trump’s policy decisions thus far with the present precarious global economy due to the virus impact and I don’t see any way the give the WH to sleepy/creepy Uncle Joe. Yeah they like him better than Bernie, but with the current economy state no way they give this situation to him willingly.
Also if this does turn out to be sharp AND short like most are saying it’s a huge feather in Trump’s hat. “See I got us thru this unscathed” and just more performance to lean on.
Factor in how bitter and petty the Bernie Bros will be about getting shafted twice in their eyes and no way they vote for Biden. They will stay home or write in Bernie.
And the debates will be glorious with Trump continually bringing up Hunter, Joe’s Brother, and Ukraine
If anything this just keeps playing into the GOP’s hands![]()
That’s just dumb. Tell you what, I will donate to a charity of your choosing, $500 if Hillary is named as VP or nominated at the convention if it’s brokered. You donate to a charity of my choice if you are wrong.
Biden is doing better than Hillary did in the states she won and definitely in the ones she lost. Democrat party would have to be suicidal to put her in again. Just run a good VP and let's go Biden.
I think this is an election where the establishment would be comfortable with either of them being elected. Trump is certainly an anti-establishment candidate, but it isn't like he is or has ever been anti-Wall Street or anti-big business. He's a self-described "tariff man," which big business would prefer he not be, but he isn't against the fundamental concept of big business like someone like Bernie is.So it’s gonna be Trump vs Biden. Well, it's official. The 11 year bull stock market ended with Trump at the helm.
How apropos.
Give him long enough, and he'd bankrupt our country, too. Seems the Fates have smiled upon us though, as his escort to the exit is a Corona.
Perhaps if he drank one... just one beer in his life, he wouldn't be such a douche.
It would have ended had Hillary been elected in 2016. Probably sooner and without a worldwide pandemic.Well, it's official. The 11 year bull stock market ended with Trump at the helm.

Which one of his policies caused the end of the Bull Market?Well, it's official. The 11 year bull stock market ended with Trump at the helm.
