She's a straight up idiot. That's all she's got to do is start more crazy BS......that's what her paycheck has written on it. Everything is racism according to these Democrats.......they never stop to think before they open their mouth.
I've got those kinds of restaurants in my little town & I have not avoided them at all....I love the food too much. What does she want to accomplish by starting up such trash/hate talk.....she's so full of BS it comes out her ears.

If I decide to forego Peking duck for awhile I would not consider that racism.

Let's say it is only 5 times deadlier than the flu. Haven't seen anyone claiming it to be that low, but let's think best case scenario. And let's say only 10% become infected. Based on the R0 being reported, that would take extreme measures of containment to bring the infection total that low, which is not even remotely likely in the United States. Even then, you're looking at 175,000 deaths. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we end up with twice or three times that amount of fatalities by the end of this whole ordeal.

I think we are saying the same thing. I agree that more testing will yield more people with slight or just minor symptoms such that it will, in turn, cause the death rate projection to come down.

I just dislike it when people guess where it will end up, because I always feel like they are giving that guess with an agenda, see e.g. Trump saying last week that he has a "hunch" it is less than 1 %. He is saying that to minimize the risks. He should simply say that it is likely that it will turn out to be much lower once the broader but less severe cases are better known.

That would be accurate. The President saying he guesses it will be less than 1 % is patently ridiculous on his part.

First, you assume he has read it and understood it. If Donald Trump has one character attribute we should all be able to agree on, its that he does not read or pay much attention at all to briefing materials like this. And that it triply so where the news does not make him feel warm and fuzzy about things.

Second, if there is such material and he read and understood it, I guaran-dam-tee you that he'd have said so and told us what it was and what it said, and called the authors respected, and all his usual antics.
