You all know this virus is everywhere in the US now. If you are waiting for the news to slowly roll out each individual infection county by county hoping you have so far dodged a bullet telling yourself "well, there have been no confirmed cases in Knox County" then you are fooling yourself. This BS these counties are doing where they test 1 positive and go on the air saying "there has been no community spread" are full of shlt. They wouldn't know if there was community spread because they don't have enough tests to know. If you are waiting for someone to ring some proverbial bell to tell you "it's time" then DING DING!

You do realize that your logic works against you, right? The more they test, the lower the mortality rate plummets. If this is little more than a flu, why should we sit in our closets, scared to death that it comes to our town?

As facts emerge, it looks like the mortality rate was believed to be so high because the only people getting tested were the severe cases. MOST cases were so asymptomatic or lightly symptomatic that they didn't even come in for tests. Hell, many didn't even know they'd gotten it.

Do you bum-rush the bulk stores and lock yourself in your apartment every flu season?

You did this last night. He never intimated that people SHOULD go to work with Coronavirus. He just said it had probably happened to people who didn’t know they were infected or only had mild symptoms, and that may have thrown off the mortality figures.
