If they really wanted people to panic, why didn't they cover any of this two months ago when it was in China and was obviously not contained. If they wanted to scare the life out of people all they would need to show is a few videos of China where people were laying dead in the streets and in the hospital hallways. Or the video of three dead toddlers being loaded into one single body bag. Would have really made people sh*t their pants.

Because the name coronavirus has been around for these strains of virus for a long time, like they were discovered 60 years ago. Why would they change the name?

Our first suspected case of cov-19 with a travel cruise history. Don't know which cruise. CDC refused the sample because "out of criteria" rationale. The Drs want pt tested so they sent the sample to California. 3 days is the guesstimate on results since it was sent last Friday, pt is in negative pressure room, ventilated and on several drips to maintain BP. That's what I know right now.
On the flip side we have 3 inf A pts ventilated one may not make it. The flu is running amuck in Norfolk and surrounding areas. People are waiting too long to seek treatment and are blasé about contact with those already proven to be infected.

Personally as a young health person who had to sweat out H1N1, being diagnosed doesnt seem to matter much if you arent getting non OTC medication or treatment to help. Just my personal belief.

They are doing mock ups and material selection. These are the last steps in what is normally a months long process (half a year), but with the government and WH being involved I wouldnt be shocked if this was years in the making.

But yes this construction process is what is holding back treatment of the virus in this nation.

I agree, I've had the flu once in 2007. I didn't need to be diagnosed, I treated my symptoms. Stayed away from my family. Most miserable 6 days ever.

Did I claim that construction was holding up coronavirus treatment or prep? No, I did not. This is about being completely tone deaf. You don't talk about installing a new private tennis court for the orange lard ass during a developing pandemic.

They don't understand that its a different version of earlier viruses. They would rather believe that its 1) all a conspiracy to hurt Trump; or 2) all a conspiracy to help China. Like Trump, they insist its being overblown, despite what the professionals say.

But, when we had actual affirmative proof of the Russians interfering in the '16 election, and trying to interfere now? Nah, that's fake news!
