I don't see how anyone could honestly disagree. What I would expect from a president is a low key response saying our people are working hard on vaccine research, putting a plan into action, and that while this is a trying time for the world I have confidence in our medical experts and the resiliency of Americans.

But what do we get from Trump? It's no big deal it's already contained. Don't worry about it.

Your average person isn’t very smart. Saying things like “the president is lying” is just going to make those people think it’s a hoax. Their brains have a hard time separating the two things.

I hardly think that Donald Trump lying is big news. It would be shocking if he told the truth about something.

Correct. His desire for things to be calm and going well as a reflection of his leadership overrides a basic commons sense approach to a serious problem.

My assertion was that during flu season these facilities should do more to help minimize the spread of illness.
