Interesting that in 23 years of medical practice and training, I don't ever remember hearing the word "President" while discussing a respiratory virus.

Can we please try to keep this discussion on topic? There seem to be quite a few people very interested in sharing real information.

There are countless LG threads where you can rip on the POTUS, if that's your fancy.

That's why I say the logistics would be tough. You can't test everyone in the country, but larger-scale community testing might be possible, then extrapolate the data to a larger population.

Best way to limit number of at risk patients is to reduce overall number of patients.

Best way to reduce number of patients is to reduce contact between people with the virus and those who do not have it.

Best way to reduce spread is to test and isolate those who do have it until it passes.

This is so obvious. It is tragically laughable that Trump and some of you seem to argue against it. I know why Trump does -- he doesn't want us to know the truth and hopes that his luck to date holds up and he gets out of this.

The only reason I can think of for you to join his irrational line of thought is that you are willingly blind to his incompetence.

You might want to educate yourself on the actual subject. The Puerto Rico government reported 64 for 3 months. Then knew it was under reported and really was about 1200 but then the media and GWU tried to say nearly every death that year was “hurricane related” including cancer, heart attacks, diabetes etc.

Ok where were you on the truth with H1N1 where President Obama did basically zero until 1000 people died.
President Trump has restricted flights where the disease is most evidenced. They are testing. Everything you have said we are doing. And less than 500 people have a disease where there's no vaccine for. From Bill Clinton to Obama we have been forced to get our medicines from China. So once again let the adults handle this. Your help is not needed. Infact do us a favor stay inside until there is a cure.

You answered a post if none referring specicacally about people in this country with some lame chart of over 100000 confirmed cases. That is either stupid or ignorant. You're off by about 100%. You are showing that you know approximately jack sh*t about this particular pandemic. You are also proving that you have no concept of exponential growth. Every day there are more new cases than the day before. And that's happening while we're hardly testing anybody. Wrap your pea brain around that if you're capable.

This is not yet a pandemic. The flu killed 30k confirmed last year was that a pandemic? You are a freaking genius more cases coming in daily when testing is happening daily. Really stepping out on the long on that one. You weak minded dolts should learn to stop watching TV because when you do you believe the craziest of things.
