Everyone else doesn’t have the mound demeanor and composure of a 10 year old. Hitters FEED off of that. He has a million dollar arm and a 10 cent brain and doesn’t appear he will ever change. The real problem is we haven’t developed or found a solution to get better every 5th day that he toes rubber. Or we won’t give the damn ball to Newk (better pitcher)

Other than like a 2 month stretch in 2018, Newk has been garbage as a starter. He walks entirely too many people when he starts.

I’ll take his 2018 numbers every year. 31 games sub 4 ERA in his first full season, then after that, everyone gave up on him and went all in on a bum. Mind blowing. As if Newk couldn’t or wouldn’t improve. Give the kid a damn chance. Folty has all the rope in the world it seems and Newk has to tie a knot in the end of his rope before he even gets a chance.

First full season Newk was a borderline all star and then he struggled like pretty much every other young pitcher. Hasn’t really had a fair shake since.

Spring training is in full effect, there is an actual Braves game THIS month, my little man has his first official bat/glove/batting helmet and these last couple pages is how y’all choose to live your lives? Shameful.

What’s the point of sports if you can’t discuss your viewpoint and have it countered by others and vice versa? Everyone has a different opinion and that’s OK. That’s what makes it fun. Not sure why that always bothers you. Most of the time it’s friendly ribbing. I bet watching a game with you would suck lol

Haha, the version of discussion and countering in this thread is just an attempt to out-shlt-on the guy you don’t like instead of defending the guy you do.

I have my preferences, like wanting Camargo as the everyday third basemen, but I guess I just don’t get the appeal of spending my time attacking Riley to validate that preference.

I know for me it's all in fun ribbing. Easy way to take off from real life crap at times.
