I just don’t get why y’all think Newk can’t start while praising Folty. Newk (as a total package) is a better pitcher and his numbers back it up. Will have a better career. But y’all hold on to a guy who has to remind himself to not be a bitch and gets rattled by some chump on the interweb.

I would like to say that I’ve never said Newk could never start. I just think this team is better if Wright performs well and we can use Newk in the pen. That’s just my opinion.

I believe the point is that it’s great for Wright to be in the rotation. Newk over Folty is a thing too. His guaranteed spot is what’s funny. He labored through 2.2 IP against a minor league squad today and you are happy about it.
