Old Bruce owns Barnes. If UTAD had gone to bat for Bruce we would have been to a couple of final fours by now. Sucks.....

I both agree, but also support Barnes 100% simultaneously. From the moment the BBQ happened, I said he's good enough to accept the penalties and ride him out. I didn't want to return to Peterson or O'Neill.

But Bruce isn't coming back and I LOVE how Barnes is recruiting right now, so he has a chance to flip the script imo and be the best UT coach ever.

When Barnes does retire and IF UT calls Forbes I believe he would jump at that job in a heartbeat. He loved his time at TN.
