I thought he was inheriting Bloomberg's resources? I'd think Mike could afford better security.Biden says candidates might need Secret Service protection after wife corralled protester
Biden has no worries--Jill will body slam them.
How does it hurt Biden? Warren had appeal across the spectrum. Some may move to support Bernie, but some will move to Biden. No one knows the exact numbers. Fewer choices help the Democrats overall. Besides, with everyone else dropping, the writing on the wall was clear. It's a two person race, and Warren was not one of those two people. Why continue to spend on an obvious lost cause? How does Warren dropping out help Biden? It hurts Biden.
That seems to blow your whole theory out of the water.
Also, when did the 16 repub. candidates end their campaigns in 2016?
Was there a conspiracy behind the timing?
No one really cares who. Not many care if it is Biden or Bernie. Most are probably glad it isn't a communist/socialist and therefore are relieved that the democrat establishment rallied behind Biden to push him ahead, probably for good. I mean to say, most are relieved that a communist does not have a good chance now to be the candidate chosen for President. That would be real bad for the country.
But aren't any of you just a bit curious as to the timing of the Buttigieg/Klobuchar pull out just days ahead of the Super Tuesday primaries? Not just a little?
I don't think she should have continued. How does it hurt Biden? Warren had appeal across the spectrum. Some may move to support Bernie, but some will move to Biden. No one knows the exact numbers. She was pulling votes across the spectrum. Carlos posted a poll in another thread about Warren supporters' second choice. Check it out, and do the math. It's not as clear cut as you make it out to be.I don't think she should have continued.
She was pulling votes from the far left, Bernie's territory.
I saw it. She was pulling far more from Bernie. She was pulling votes across the spectrum. Carlos posted a poll in another thread about Warren supporters' second choice. Check it out, and do the math. It's not as clear cut as you make it out to be.
+I saw it. She was pulling far more from Bernie.
But it's a ridiculous point in my mind.
I was just using it to highlight the idiocy of the conspiracy theories about the DNC fixing the election.
If the Pete and Amy supporters switch to Biden, the numbers on that poll change. That's why I said do the math. It's all speculation.I saw it. She was pulling far more from Bernie.

Considering what Debbie Wassermann-Schultz and the DNC did to Bernie in 2016, you shouldn’t be so quick to poo poo the idea that the DNC could be about to screw him over once again.I saw it. She was pulling far more from Bernie.

Moochelle would be the best choice for identity politics purposes. Black.... woman... and named Obama. I'll bet eht Dems would help with the 25th amendment vote then...

He's an independent that is far to the left of most dems.. Why in the world would anyone ever think he would be supported by the DMC?Considering what Debbie Wassermann-Schultz and the DNC did to Bernie in 2016, you shouldn’t be so quick to poo poo the idea that the DNC could be about to screw him over once again.
