He should not be telling people with coronavirus to go to work. Or that its no big deal because people even could go to work.

He should not be guessing at the fatality rate. The ACCURATE thing to say is that it is currently unknown. This was akin to his guessing that it will go away in the Spring, or that a miracle will cause it to suddenly stop.

What we repeatedly see with this fool is that he gets briefed and shows up with the science-based folks around him and he at best defers to their expertise. But then he gets away from them and he "just wings it," with a clear agenda to minimize it because he thinks it makes him look bad.

The man is utterly unqualified to be in the position. He does not understand the issues, the facts, and should STFU.

There's more than one 50 year old and there's more than just elderly. Yet you don't want to comprehend it. So when one person gets hit with lightning it spreads to 100 more humans? DAF! I'm not sure what beef you have to post smart replies to everyone in here that brings a link or new info but it's ridiculous.

Classic Trump--he starts out by saying something that's kind of true, but then he keeps rambling on, straying further and further from what he first said, that by the end you really don't know what his point was.

My beef is with your ridiculous overreaction to every bit of news on this. It is an airborne virus. You're DAF if you thought someone could contain it.

I'm as big a critic as any, but no president comes into office with a "plan" on how to deal with a new infectious disease.

What he's done since January is a different discussion.

See, I think that remain ns to be seen. Just as Trump should not guess at the death rate to falsely reassure people, neither should his critics assume that actual cases will be caused by his policies.

FYI: yesterday's task force was very clear in its praise for the administration's rapid response to the threat. They specifically stated that the travel restrictions have delayed and limited the spread to and through the US.

I'm sure you know better, though.
