Pretty sure one of my coworkers has coronavirus. They were in S Korea last week and now have flu like symptoms. Currently in quarantine at their house but they were told if they still had symptoms by the end of today they were going to have to check into the hospital. This isn’t the first person in quarantine from my office. Today we came in and there were a bunch of signs up on how to stop the spread of germs. Everyone also got emails asking for their personal contact info.
You’ve got to be kidding me. After all the Trump crap the Dems go crazy over where he is clearly joking and now all of a sudden you can tell when someone is joking? Amazing.I'm saying that anyone in their right mind would see that its a joke.
Insane Trumpsters will call for her to be arrested and/or claim that she typifies all Dems universally wanting to kill Trump voters.
Feeds the Trumpster hysteria of victimhood and "woe is us, we are so beleaguered due to our righteous support of the chosen one."

This is my thinking as well. The majority of people with these symptoms are not going to go to the doctor. They will write it off as a cold unless symptoms persist beyond normal. There are likely many more cases out there that will never be diagnosed. The death rate freaks a lot of people out, but here is what many don't seem to realize: this virus causes symptoms that resemble the common cold in mild cases. Most people who experience what they assume to be a common cold don't go to the doctor and thus are never tested. There are likely thousands upon thousands of those cases worldwide, and maybe even a hundred or more in the US. For that reason, it's my belief that the real fatality rate is considerably lower than the 3.4% being reported.
With that being said, I think I saw where this is quite a bit more contagious than the flu.
Coug posted a graph that showed it. Literally every story says the elderly are more at risk. I'm not digging through the thread for you.I already know there are none. You are the one claiming they exist.
How do I find something that I say doesnt exist?
I don't know who needs to hear this but do not get your public health recommendations from this man.
1. we've all said the rates are not going to be correct on here due to china, not knowing all cases, etc.
2. um ok.
3. He didnt say this
4. It is like the regular flu with symptoms. There really isnt much difference. I'd like to hear how it is.
*havent listened to the audio yet so assuming Aaron isnt embellishing
After listening, Trump never suggested it's fine to go to work with the coronavirus he said some people get it and it's so mild that they go to work. Disingenuous tweet, per usual.

Coronavirus live updates: More than 95,000 people have been infected and nearly 3,300 have died. The US has reported 11 deaths. Here's everything we know.
Indeed, most patients who have died were elderly or otherwise unwell, according to Chinese officials.

Same could be said for Flu. I’d say the vast majority of people who are sick with the flu are never diagnosed. I think I’ve only been officially diagnosed with the flu once in my life. This is my thinking as well. The majority of people with these symptoms are not going to go to the doctor. They will write it off as a cold unless symptoms persist beyond normal. There are likely many more cases out there that will never be diagnosed.
That said, if you are sick/not feeling well, stay home.
