2020 Primaries

I don't understand why anyone to the right of Bernie would want him to win the nomination. If he managed to win the Presidency I think the pendulum would swing faster to the left than it currently is.Why would anyone want to take that risk?

The betting markets have flipped Texas to Biden...one thing that might give Bernie the edge in some Super Tuesday states is early voting that took place before Biden won SC....Bernie should win Cali big
Betting markets flipping just means that too many people are betting on biden.

That's kinda my point, there is no such thing as a moderate dem

I have to laugh coming in here to see this thread of thought from you guys while I have at the same time Bernie/Warren friends texting me that they won't support Biden in the Fall because he's part of the "RNC/DNC establishment". (Of course they will but it hurts to admit it right now.)

Bonkers partisan dysphoria: totally out of hand, still hilarious.

If Bernie Sanders gets screwed out of the Democratic Nomination I think most of the Bernie Bros will stay home and not vote.

If Bernie Sanders gets screwed out of the Democratic Nomination I think most of the Bernie Bros will stay home and not vote.

As we saw last time, even if he loses by millions of votes in the primary there are those who will still cry foul and won't show up or will vote third-party from some perceived moral high ground.

The great irony is that no one had a bigger hand in writing the nomination rules for 2020 than Bernie, and now he doesn't like them because apparrently reality has an establishment bias.

I do think Bernie will get the nod if he has a delegate lead of any size after the first ballot. If he doesn't, then he has no one to blame but his own campaign which has never bothered to preach to anybody not already in the choir.

Not sure on Texas...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Bernie due to early voting.

Joe Biden Badly Bungles Declaration of Independence Quote in Stump Speech

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Monday botched a quote from the Declaration of Independence during a speech in Texas.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, all men and women are created by, go, you know, you know the thing,” he said, struggling to remember the words of the famous clause from the Declaration of Independence.

Joe Biden Badly Bungles Declaration of Independence Quote

He believes his ideas are the most popular in the field, so I wonder why he isn’t running in the Democratic Socialist Party.

Surely with ideas so popular they must have a vast national party with lots of representatives and senators and governors. My internet must be establishmentarian though, because I can’t find even one.

His really aren’t much different from the other Democrats. Bernie is just willing to advocate for them directly.
