2020 Presidential Race

Well, I never claimed to like Trump and that was long before he ever smelled an election.. I have seen you posting on the other parts of the boards, and you are a likeable person. The problem here is when you defend him at all cost, it makes me skeptical about your claim that you are just playing "devil's advocate". The reason why is there are only about six strong Democrats who post here on a obviously bias Republican board. It's easy to argue with Luther and Mick, when everyone gangs up on them.

If you truly are as you say, I suggest you watch Septic or Rocky and see how it's done on a much harder path. Otherwise, if you like Trump, then just own it.

In other news, I know Justin thinks I'm a far lefty loon since I'm a "Never Trumper", but I'm seriously trying to figure out who to vote for in a not very great field and getting worse by the moment. While many treat EL and VELO like villains, it is helpful to see all sides of the election, and not just the FOX news portion. I could just stay on Twitter and read all the anti-Trump rhetoric or watch MSNBC, but I post here to see opinions from the other side, especially those who try to open their mind, even though I know their opinions won't be changed by me.
Not to be rude, but I'm not looking for approval. My viewpoint is rather simple. Yes, Trump is a bad person, but that does not equate to a bad President. I've said many times, he shouldn't have won the Presidency, but Hillary shouldn't have won either. America had two poor choices and made the one they found more palatable.

I'm not defending Trump the person, but I am defending his Presidency. He won. There was no Russia collusion. The Ukraine thing, while unethical, did not rise to impeachment and removal. The popular vote doesn't matter and has never mattered under the Constitution. Like it or not, he is the President. Same way Obama was President in spite of people claiming he wasn't born here, or that he was a Muslim. All the accusations against Trump, if they have merit, then file charges. Prove he did something illegal and I'll 100% support his prosecution. Otherwise it's just more mud being slung around in the overall political game. Not liking a President isn't sufficient reason to impeach. And anyone actually paying attention could look back at my posts and see I've said the Dems needed to focus on 2020 and find a strong candidate. Guess what? They didn't do that. Living in reality, if I were a Dem, I'd be pissed that Biden and Sanders were the best they could come up with. A socialist, and someone who presents a case for mental impairment.

Marriage isn't for everybody, and you do need the right partner. My brother was like FL79. Everybody is different. He has apparently found what works for him.
Yeah, I think you made the point I was trying to make better than I did.

The happily married man envies/pities the happily single man as much as the happily single man envies/pities the happily married man.

I can't escape the feeling Biden is seen as a puppet. I think the left sees him as someone easily controlled and manipulated. And, this is not a personal attack, I question his mental state. When you're remembering arrests that didn't happen and keep insisting they did, even when the person you were supposedly with says it didn't happen, then you're either trying to puff up your image(which I don't believe to be the case), or you honestly believe it did happen. In that case, his mental acuity definitely comes into question. And if he does have some kind of mental deficiency, it just makes him easier to control and manipulate.

Anyone on the Democrat side trying to claim the high ground on morality is laughable. Every Democrat candidate for President is in favor of late term abortion up to and even after birth, killing babies by the hundreds of thousands, and they are all in favor of hiding known and wanted criminal illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities and derailing ICE's attempt to apprehend them, many of these illegals are wanted for murder and rape. The fact you would actually cast a vote for any one of these evil pieces of scum and then try to claim the moral high ground and lecture others on what's right and wrong is ridiculous. Save your idiotic lectures for the sheep of your own side.
Whoa, you need to get FoxNews off your TV for just a few minutes buddy. You just said Dems are in favor of killing babies after birth.

Didn't see a thread started.
Hope everyone in east Nashville, Cookeville, and other places hit is okay.
Went to bed with the announcement of corona virus in Fulton County, woke up to Nashville being hit with a tornado.
Super Tuesday is off to an interesting start.

There was a poll, and he beat Donald Trump by Double Digits. I'm sure he is the DNC choice. He will try to quieten some of the cruelty for four years without destroying the economy so we can have free stuff. Then Pete will run, after he becomes Sec of state. (Carlos told me..)

You say that all Politicians lie, stretch the truth, but Joe doesn't-- he has a mental issue. If so, I guess he needs to pick a good VP. OTOH, don't you think it could be possible with Bernie speaking of being arrested with MLK, that Biden might embellish his Mandala Story to pander? (if this is the one you mean?) or maybe this explanation:

To take a page out of your book, anything Joe has done, Trump has done worse, and none of his base is questioning Trump's mental health.
