Today represents the negative side of having your own vacation house. I am spending the day so far washing towels, sheets, dishes, and cleaning the place up. It would be nice to just hop in the car and go.

It's been nice here. About perfect for me with 65 to low 70's daytime highs. I don't like it hot, and stay away in the Summer. I'm good from 55 to 80 degrees.

Now that my wife is getting pretty mobile again, I've got to get back to my other house, too. Time to figure out how to improve a house built in 1918 without sinking real money into it (one iffy bath and virtually no closet space) ... it's not in a desirable location for resale value, could be a money pit if I let it, it was a bargain because it's been in the family a long time, but most of all it's not in a city. You sure are right about all the stuff you have to do before leaving.

Nashville tornado leaves several dead as severe weather strikes Tennessee

Two tornadoes hit middle TN early on Tuesday morning. One strikes downtown Nashville w/9 dead.
Around 1-2 am at least 9 people have lost their life in an early morning tornado. Redundant I know.

TN's Orange & White game will not be televised this year. You'll have to watch the spring game on a stream.

The game will be on the SEC Network plus digital-only streaming. The game is scheduled for 4 pm ET. on April 18th at Neyland Stadium. This marks a change the first time in 4 years of showing TN's spring game......
