To be honest, the fact that our coaches put them in the right places to make plays and show up on Saturday's is the ONLY reason they made it to the combine.Well alrighty then. If we must change the subject. lol.
Perfect illustration IMO. That CJP could get them to the point of being asked to attend the combine is a testament to the staff's development and scheming ability. Signing more legit talent will solve the issue.

I greatly value VFL’s like JJ, Bituli, etc. and seeing development of guys like Nigel brings a smile to my face for what the future holds.
Having said that, the combine was an embarrassment for the program. The tape don’t lie, but dang it these were our stars and none of them stood out amongst their peers. No wonder we’ve sucked for so long.
how old are you? I only ask because that would explain a lot of your takes.People are too busy crying, whining, b!tchin over some flopping to see what he has done for other nba players, inner city kids, social justice, etc... (the bigger picture) all because he might be better than some mythical creature named mj.
I really am optimistic that players like Roman Harrison and Jalen McCollough will represent a different class of contributor for the Vols in the coming seasons. No offense intended to many of the starters we've seen over the past decade, but I do expect both the floor and ceiling to rise. The starters have to look more like the top performers at the draft combine for us to conquer the SEC. And no one feels this more than CJP and Coach Fulmer. To be honest, the fact that our coaches put them in the right places to make plays and show up on Saturday's is the ONLY reason they made it to the combine.
And I’ll put DWA in the Kongbo “looks like Tarzan plays like Jane” category. For a guy who aspired to go pro early, he really hurt himself to the point he won’t get drafted.
Old enough to know people complain when greatness is happening amongst their eyes that they only appreciate it when it’s gone. My takes arent wrong or misguided just because i disagree with the majority on here on this basketball topic. Its funny that some people on here conveniently bring up lbj when he has a blunder. Those same people are always somehow silent when he does something good/great.how old are you? I only ask because that would explain a lot of your takes.
They updated the definition/rule of gathering last year. Interpretation is obviously very open and I'd guess they are leaning towards leniency.I don’t interpret that as “gathering.” I think the intent was to allow someone a step while bobbling, after a tip, or gathering a pass. You are a poor dribbler if you have to “gather” your own dribble. That’s stretching the intent of the rules.
It is MHO that pretty much all crossovers are palm/carry violations and should be called. Everyone does it now, but it's a joke that it's considered a legal dribble now.
I am old enough to have seen Dr. J, Bird, Kareem, MJ and Magic play. With that said, LBJ is not on their level. He is not even on Kobe's (RIP) level. He is a very good player, but he is a better man. I applaud him for setting the example. No scandals...no baby mama's. How many men do you know that have been with the same woman since HS? That says a lot about his character, loyalty, and morals. When he retires, which may be soon, he will be remembered as a very good player. I think where he will transcend MJ and the others, is life after basketball. He has started to make his mark in that arena, and that is before he even retires.Old enough to know people complain when greatness is happening amongst their eyes that they only appreciate it when it’s gone. So you insinuated lbj isnt great and/or you don’t appreciate his greatness because you are a hater of him. I put theI didn’t say LBJ wasn’t great. But sure... put the laugh emojis and talk about “hate”... cause that’s cool
