How do you stockpile something that you don’t make in your country and there’s only three sources to get AND they are in usage everyday in every medical facility in the country? Every level 1 trauma hospital has a 72 hour contingency plan but they have to rely on suppliers after that if an influx of patients arriveYep. But why aren’t those agencies planning for this and stock piling them?
That's my plan. After working in ICU, it's a case of beam and a cabin when it's my time.Yep...I've consulted in nursing homes in over 30 states...done 100s of med pass observations...and found so many wrong things on MARs med carts and med rooms...told my wife just to drop me off in the forest when it's my time to go

JIT delivery has screwed any emergency up and no secondary backup just like with iv fluids and the Puerto Rico debacle. They aren't prepared.Yep. But why aren’t those agencies planning for this and stock piling them?
That last sentence is a great plan, may we all gave such an ending... God willing. For me it depends on what it is. ALS, MS, severe onset Alzheimers.....get me high as a kite on the right stuff and let me never come back. Cancer...I'll fight it depending on what it is, but have an alternate plan for putting myself away early. Really hoping for old age, UT wins like it's 15th national title in a row, I'm about 90 or 91, in decent health and I just go to sleep in my recliner after that victory and that's all she wrote.
You clearly know more about this then I do. I would just say we have had years to prepare.
