You are not woke enough to realize that Tennessee is the only place that he can get a 2nd chance. Don't fret the "you don't know what you are talking about" crowd will be along soon.

I should have qualified that domestic assault can be a number of things. He may not have beaten her silly, or beat her at all; it could be unlawful restraint or some other forceful act, but none of them are good. He has an extremely narrow window under which he *might* do penance and remain at UT.

The absolute best outcome is that the claim is found to be fabricated.

And I will go on the record to state I hope he hasn't done anything. Because let's be honest this kid has baggage and is a walking testament to "2nd chances"

Gotta say that doesnt sound like anything that most anyone could have had happened to them. Its magnified when you shove people for a living tho. When are these young'ins going to learn? Women are the most dangerous things on earth. All that playing around and now it may have blown up the money ride. Ah to be young and stupid again.

I wish someone could do brain surgery on these young men. Surgery that instilled in these guys the can of paint they over their heads contaminates them for life. Even after it has faded to a duller shade. It has to be surgically installed because just telling them nor showing them proof of others' experiences doesn't seem to work.

Testosterone & Estrogen poisening don't mix well with alcohol.

Wish I could say I didn't have any regrets about things I did when I was young and drunk but a made a few bad choices myself to include verbal slandering, bullying and property damage....things I would have never done sober and regret.

I’ll trust Pruitt and Phil’s decision to decide what his punishment and association with our program will be after they get the full set of facts. Until then, I think it is irresponsible to speculate and go worst case scenario.

I’m pushing the like button like a mad man , but it will only let me give you one . We always do that every time we hear that something happened with our players .

Well shoving is better than punching, etc.

And hopefully it is nothing more than a knee scrape.

Suprised he wasn't charged with fighting the male friend.

Will never understand why these kids who have the world in there hands do stupid stuff like that. I know “innocent until proven guilty” “they are kids”, but I’m 24 years old and can easily say I’ve done nothing near this stupid. It’s not that hard to stay outta trouble with the law and still have fun

Public intoxication and domestic assault... If I’m Pruitt I ask him to tell me straight up if this is true or not. If it’s true then he’s gone. We need guys that are dedicated to winning and this does not help us win. Have to make an example out of someone and we want guys that aren’t going to compromise our mission.

True. Buy most of VN rather win than do the right thing.

He gone. And this guy has really always been an idiot. He had to go the juco route and has never reached his potential. Or anything even close to it. Domestic issues in this day and age is the loss of death

Absolutely they should be given second chances within reason. I have no idea what the exact nature of this event was, but for one reason or another this kid has had a bad reputation since Dooley was our coach.

Two sides to every story. Let's wait for the facts to come out. Would anyone like to give a under/ over on how many days the local news websites will run this story ?

You're thinking of a lobotomy.
