Music was so much better back then. I'd hate to get what passes as music these days stuck in my head.

Loving Spoonful was simple but great, we didn't really appreciate what we had because so much of it was good and it kept on coming.

Imagine if the corn crop failed, too. Real Coke with real sugar again ... oh, the horror! I still can't figure out how as a country we were so skinny before the 1970s with all the sugar we consumed before corn became the thing.

We didn't consume as much as now, even with the corn syrup.
