The Official Tennessee @ Arkansas Game Thread, 8:30 PM ET, SEC Network

Poor recruiting, that's the only thing you can criticize. And even then the only reason we find ourselves this bad was the worst case scenario playing out. Not completely his fault but he shoulders some blame for sure.

That has to be the worse half I have seen us play, and still down by only 13.

Do we have enough sack to play like we did in the 1st half at Auburn & steal this one?

Uros is about the slowest player in the SEC
He is not quick, that's for sure. This is the main reason I'm borderline against 7 footers. People seem infatuated with that number and assume any 7 footer will dominate, but it takes some special athleticism to be an effective power-five 7 footer.

This team will most likely lose out, Barnes cannot do anything at this point in the season to motivate them. If Barnes has a rough start to next season that mimics this season, you will start to hear hotseat talk

If he can find a way to accelerate a step quicker he will be deadly. He has the vision and creativity that is Steve Nash-esque
You either have speed or you don't, you either are fast twitch or you aren't, not sure there is much you can do to change that. We'll see I guess.

All signs point to no. Fulkerson doing nothing against a small team is concerning.

Not playing point next year will be great for him........and the team
I think it's in the realm of possibility he may be the best ball handler on next year's team. Not saying it's a lock, but possible with an off-season of practice after playing this season.

he is the HC , he shoulders all the blame. I like Barnes but this is his own fault. Nobody can say that he thought he was going to have Williams and Bone but the fact is you still have to recruit like you are not going to have those 2.

The players coming in next season are not PGs, they are shooting guards and one forward.

Yes .. anytime somebody drives .. he is playing catch up .. slow feet

Y’all’s hatred of a 19 year old kid is very creepy
Ease up Nancy, nobody hates JJJ...criticism of his poor play as a top 25 freshman in the country is understandable and warranted. He has some talent and potential, but he’s done nothing to justify the hype he came to the program with. Nagging injuries surely hasn’t helped, but he also lacks the mindset and general athletic ability of players normally rated as high as he was. Long way to go.

I don't disagree with your sentiment, but the Bone departure was a shock. He almost pulled a Hopson and went undrafted.

I actually agree with this. He has to develop his off hand more for that to happen and develop a more consistent pull-up jumper to take his fame to the next level

I think Santi has the quickness, his inexperience & lack of right hand handles is essentially a restrictor plate on him showing it.

When he is going to his left hard he has proven he can get around defenders.

Vescovi will be an All SEC player before he leaves here
I hope you're right but I just don't see the speed needed for this league. You can tell he's not used to playing this level of talent and how instincts are lacking as a result, but that is coachable. I just don't know if he has the speed needed, hopefully he can adjust his game accordingly.

That would be great. But at least there will be options next year.

Barnes is a worse game coach that he is a recruiter. He’s a great practice coach thou

What about Victor Bailey? He’ll be the pg next year IMO
