I was initially thinking it was American preppers cleaning out the shelves. When this crap gets here we're not going to have our own supply for our own people because it's all getting freaking mailed to China. That crap has to stop now!

Yep, that's the linchpin here, all would have been good except for the fact of the local primary care physician and his wanting payment. Because of that, the virus managed to scrape out an existence.

I'm not following. There's absolutely nothing that can be done by primary care physicians to care for this infection. Fluids, rest, nasal saline irrigation, and encourage productive cough -- same as a cold. If it gets bad, only intensive care with ventilator support, IVF, etc can be offered at a hospital.

Let me change "to go to the doctor " to "to seek medical help". Does that change your not following? A doctor don't have to be your PCP.
