Almost have to go back and take geography again. I was always good at geography but would struggle. Africa was always tough as well.

If you enjoy action films and history you never knew, watch Red Sea Diving Resort. The movie is based on the Mossad operation to smuggle Ethiopian Jews out of Ethiopia before they were slaughtered by the new regime. It's a very good movie with abysmal critical ratings. Being deplorable and a heathen, I generally find the best movies are the ones the critics hate. With enough "what possessed you to get this piece of trash movie?' I even got my wife to realize movie critics are fools.

My daughter has a friend that lives in Italy and he told her that people over there are stockpiling food and water due to the virus. also, the lady from China that’s a customer of my other daughter was in the salon again today. Once again she said it’s much worse than than being reported. She also said food and water is scarce due to nothing moving.
Perhaps it’s time to start stocking up on some canned goods and bottled water ?

The Mossad has done some interesting stuff over the years. Just in case we all wind up sitting at home, you might like Daniel Silva's Gabriel Allon books. The are very very good ... about an ex Israeli intelligence agent who keeps getting dragged back in for one more assignment. His day job became restoring famous art, so you even get a little culture.

With the CDC basically going public to expect widespread cases I think it time to buy whatever supplies you can, by the time all doubt is removed and you know you really really need them it will be too late, always better safe than sorry.

The Rogue Warrior series by ex Seal Officer Richard Marcinko is a fun read. Pretty much a names may have been changed but we really did most of this crazy crap series.

I loved geography especially the weather part in college and thought I was pretty good..my autistic son kicks my butt at mapping though..he can literally place every single country on a map without hesitation

A friend of mine who was a little younger always wanted to be a Marine. He became one and ended up becoming one of the guys who is attached to White House duty. They often were in rooms with the security details of foreign dignitaries at the WH. There was always a healthy sizing up of the others guys according to him. The Israelis and Russian security details were the only ones he had a healthy respect for. They were obviously ex special forces according to him. According to him the Russians were the real deal but he stated pound for pound he'd rather go toe to toe with Russians any day of the week over the isrealis. He said those dudes were machines and he's no shrinking violet. He's a metro detective in Nashville now.

Just took a trip to Walmart to buy a few prepping items of sorts. I scored some Microban 24 bottles at regular price. I quickly found out that pretty much all masks and hand sanitizer is out. I was initially thinking it was American preppers cleaning out the shelves. I then found an employee and learned that what's happening is Asian Americans are cleaning out OUR shelves and mailing it all back to their own families in China and they are doing this daily! When this crap gets here we're not going to have our own supply for our own people because it's all getting freaking mailed to China. That crap has to stop now!

If someone gets sick and cant afford to go to the doctor, the community in which they live is at great risk if they have this virus. Same applies to someone with a high deductible.
