BREAKING: Feds Notify Bernie Sanders That Russia Is Trying To Help His Campaign

Federal officials have notified socialist Bernie Sanders that Russia is trying to boost his presidential campaign in an effort to impact who becomes the Democrats’ presidential nominee.

The Washington Post reported that President Donald Trump and other top lawmakers on Capitol Hill have been informed about Russia’s efforts to boost Sanders.

Top officials “have repeatedly warned that Russia has ongoing plans to interfere in U.S. elections and foster divisions among Americans, part of a strategic goal to undermine U.S. standing in the world,” The Post reported. “Some analysts believe that the Kremlin’s goal is to cause the maximum disruption within the United States, and it throws the support of its hackers and trolls behind candidates based on that goal, not any particular affinity for the persons running.”

Sanders has a long history of being cozying up to Russia, including when he was the mayor of Burlington.

Wait they didn't bug him or spy on his campaign and associates??

Quinnipiac is a very good poll historically. Thanks for posting this!

Trump looks very strong in Wisconsin which is probably why the DNC is in Milwaukee, though it won't matter. I think that Iowa and Wisconsin are red now. Minnesota will probably drift over too in a few years.

From the same release, I was surprised he looks so weak in Pennsylvania.
  • Biden is ahead of Trump 50 - 42 percent;
  • Klobuchar leads Trump 49 - 42 percent;
  • Bloomberg leads Trump 48 - 42 percent;
  • Sanders has 48 percent and Trump gets 44 percent;
  • Buttigieg receives 47 percent and Trump has 43 percent;
  • Warren gets 47 percent to Trump's 44 percent.
Michigan is a little more up for grabs:
  • Sanders narrowly tops Trump 48 - 43 percent;
  • Bloomberg has a slight lead over Trump 47 - 42 percent;
  • Biden has 47 percent and Trump gets 43 percent;
  • Warren gets 45 percent, while Trump receives 43 percent;
  • Buttigieg gets 45 percent and Trump has 44 percent;
  • Klobuchar receives 45 percent to Trump's 44 percent.
If Trump can hold Florida and loses PA and MI, then we could actually get a 269 tie which would be chaos. Maine 1st could break it for Trump though.
So I looked up what happens in the 269 scenario. It’s quite interesting. The House votes for the President. But it’s a straight up and down vote. The congressman from each state vote to pick a candidate to represent their state. So one state one vote.

Are you saying that the Reps of each state vote and majority of Rep votes wins that state? If so, could there be a tie within a state?

Yes that’s what I am saying. From what I understand they keep voting until a tie is broken. If states are tied they would keep voting. If a candidate gets to 26 states then it’s over. If gridlock persists then the acting VP, who is voted on by the Senate, acts as President until it’s settled.

That would be amazing. Maybe even probable at some point after what we witnessed in 2000 election. I never in my mind thought they would be inspecting hanging chads in a Florida county to see who wins.

I just saw where Bernie is lecturing a class on how the Irish are drunks that like to fight, Italians are all gangsters, the Jews are greedy, and black people smell. Lol

Ditto was said about Trump.
Meh Trump always had a chance. He certainly benefited from the fact the he was running against an opponent who ran a truly horrific campaign, but he always had a pathway to win the election. The national media just acted as if he didn’t have a chance because they couldn’t comprehend how someone like him could get elected. Bernie has no chance because Americans aren’t going to elect a 78-year old democratic socialist who wants to take away their healthcare.

Bernie and Trump do have some similarities in terms of both being "anti-establishment" and being an underdog. However, I think the fact that Bernie is a Communist will keep him from winning the general, assuming he gets the nomination.

Nevada Democratic Party moves to muzzle election workers

The Democratic Party of Nevada is asking volunteers to sign nondisparagement agreements.

LAS VEGAS — The Democratic Party of Nevada wants to avoid the kind of embarrassments that plagued the Iowa caucuses. One way it hopes to accomplish that goal: Nondisparagement agreements.

As election volunteers stream into party headquarters near the Las Vegas Strip to pick up their election materials, including iPads that have been programmed to tally the caucus results, they’re being asked to sign a lengthy legal document prohibiting them from saying anything that might “impair or otherwise adversely affect the goodwill or reputation” of the party, according to the document viewed by The Washington Post.

The unusual move to muzzle election workers has already caused at least three volunteers who spoke to The Post to quit in protest.

“I think it’s shady,” said Ziad Doumani, a retired firefighter and student who lives in Henderson, Nevada and volunteered to run one of the caucuses. While Doumani himself has not been asked to sign the NDA — so far, it’s been reserved for “site leaders” who’ve shown up to pick up the materials — he said the lack of transparency is disturbing. “Why can’t we talk about it? Why are they being so secretive?”

According to one of the volunteers, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he feared retribution, state party officials refused to allow a site leader to walk out with his election materials unless he signed the NDA. At first, after the site leader complained, he was told by a staffer that signing the NDA was optional. But when the site leader said he did not intend to sign the document, a Democratic supervisor prohibited the person from picking up the materials he needed to conduct the caucus.

Well the thing is that Bernie isn’t a communist.
