'20 TX RB Zachary Evans

Yeah - it’s worse than that - look more closely. Good poster but that avi I don’t like at all.
I just can't behind it. I have daughters her age and would be furious if a picture surfaced like this. Someone came with the ol' "but she's legal", speaks volumes. My assumption, it's a younger gentleman without a lot of life experience, a character flaw. Great poster tho, I do enjoy his feedback at times.

I'd rate him a 90-92 4 star, which to me isn't that impressive...or at least not enough to demand the bulk carries from the current running backs.
Ooo..kkkkk...look the kid is a mess for a lot of reasons...how he plays ball ain't one of em.

I am not saying you are dumb..but IMO that opinion is D..U..M..B...

This kid is an elite RB...period.

I'm not sure what some are watching. I've watched both jr and sr film and he exhibits elite vision, cutbacks, jukes, and overall speed. All against top Texas talent. What else are people wanting??
I think it’s just for such a high ranking but regardless I agree. He is a seriously talented tailback and should have massive holes with our offensive line.

CB to Florida

Florida recently hired Tim Brewster who reportedly has a very good relationship with Evans, having recruited him intensely while at Texas A&M. Evans was already indicating that Florida will indeed get his final visit in March, UF bringing in Brewster only bolstered that and led to the crystal ball. There’s a lot of smoke in Florida recruiting circles that Florida is in pretty good shape here, but as we all know, that can drastically change by the day with this particular recruit.

How much did FL have to pay him to visit?

If it’s not UT then I almost hope it’s Florida. This kids issues plus a poor cultural environment could provide some epic entertainment value.

Last player I was warned about was Percy Harvin. That dude turned out to be the most electric playmaker I’ve ever seen.

Hell, UF won two national titles with a hand full of players with “cultural concerns.” If he’s a problem, Mullen will get rid of him like he’s done other “problem players;” John Huggins, Jalen Jones, Brian Edwards. If he’s as great as he looks on tape, and can keep his head on straight, he may help Florida (or any other team) win national titles again.

I have absolutely no idea if he’ll land at Florida, I’d probably say there’s about a 33% chance right now. But I think it’s ridiculous for fans of any team to say they don’t want this kid. If he’s as good as he appears, take a shot. If it doesn’t work out, get rid of him quickly. All these coaches, Mullen and Pruitt included, feel like they can positively affect all players and change them for the better. I say go for it.

I never said I didn’t want him. I trust my coach to handle the situation because I think he’s a fantastic leader of young men,and your coach learned from Urban. There’s a reason Chris Steele got the F out of Gainesville.

Who gives a rat’s behind? He’s a talent at a position of need and we have a spot remaining. Who cares if he’s the best back in America like some believe OR just simply better than most of the RBs on our current roster? Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss, and Tennessee all feel he’s worth a spot on their team.

😂

And his name is Tre Grimes.

And Van Jefferson, and Freddie Swain, and Tyrie Cleveland. And Kaiir Elam.

But mostly Tre Grimes, brutalizing him on the practice fields. It didn’t help when Feleipe Franks outran and burnt him on a pass route as a WR during the spring. Yes, you read that right, Franks went out for a reverse pass during the spring game and basically completely burnt Steele. Steele got gone, quick, after that.

But go on....

Exactly. 👏🏻

Sure. It was. And as far as going on are you really trying to paint Mullen as a tight disciplinarian for kicking Jones out of school? He was accused of two ****ing sexual assaults. I doubt he even made the decision, it was probably made for him. Urban Meyer created the worst culture I’ve ever heard of in a collegiate athletic team, and Mullen was right there with him. Complete with a future double murderer on scholarship and a known wife beater on staff. If you think Mullen has cleaned it up then we’ll have to agree to disagree.

I come here to give simple updates on a great HS football player both UF and UT are recruiting, from a UF fan perspective, and you try to turn it into a nonsense referendum on Mullen and Florida, because you hate Florida to the point where you can’t even hold an intelligent conversation in the off-season.

I have criticized Mullen for being too harsh on his discipline, you can find that criticism here in these pages. I thought he booted guys because of public pressure and I thought his trigger finger was too quick. NONE of the players Mullen kicked off were charged with anything, let along convicted. You chastise Mullen’s disciplinary practices, which includes multiple examples of kicking kids completely out of the program. What would you have preferred him do better?

Did you, and have you, stayed silent on Pruitt’s decisions to bring back players who threatened to shoot up a school or take a swing at a cop? And do you support bringing Jeremy Banks back?

Me, I leave it up to the coaches and I’m NOT criticizing Pruitt. He’s doing what HE thinks is best, and couldn’t care less what me or you think. Maybe you should afford that same respect to Mullen, if you can look through your hate of Florida long enough. I’m actually on record saying I prefer the Pruitt approach, giving second changes and trying to change kids’ lives, versus kicking them outta school like Mullen has done.

Jaws and Cat are going to be unbearable if this kid ends up in Gainesville.

Nah, I’ll only be unbearable if the guy kicks butt on the field and leads to titles. Until then, he’s just another promising recruit with potential. Even if he signs with UF, he won’t take carries from Dameon Pierce this year. That’s the dude I’m looking forward to.
