Gun control debate (merged)

You do realize practically any firearm can be construed as an "anti-aircraft gun"?

You do realize chemical weapons are fairly easy to produce by mixing generally uncontrolled substances into a lethal blend? They aren't as potent as government produced ones, but they can be produced by everyday people.

Owning nuclear weapons is the most ignorant argument one could make for gun control. First off, where in the ever living hell are you going to buy enough plutonium or uranium to make one? Second, it's pretty much a huge technical challenge to produce one. Last, but certainly not least, the components to include the manufacturing tools to make one are highly expensive. As is the nuclear reactor needed to produce the plutonium.

Land mines are also easy to produce.

I've perused this thread since it's relevant to my interests and generally try to stay away from discussions with those (you specifically) who cannot comprehend basic knowledge of the argument at hand. But your examples just takes the cake on ignorance. You really aren't being rational and reasonable in your posts here.

Everyday people may have once worn a uniform. Anybody that’s ever been on a WMD/CST team has both the knowledge and skills to make the real potent ones. They’ve had hands on training and they aren’t following a recipe from the internet.

Bless your little socialist heart . What right are we going to throw away next on the bases that it could save one persons life ? They are taken a constitutional right away from me , while touting a women’s “right “ to kill her baby all the way up until delivery . How do you square that one up in your little noggin ? The way some of you justify things is beyond me sometimes.
That guy has proven time and time again that he’s a “daisy”

You're right. I was meaning more of industrial level manufacturers being able to refine the various V and G agents into more lethal substances than one could produce without the manufacturing base set up to do so. Such home baked items would be lethal, sure, but not to the efficacy they are capable of being produced.

Regardless, the argument about everyday people running around with a canister of Sarin or a backpack nuke because they are allowed under the 2nd Amendment is ridiculous to say the least. Anyone who tries to make that argument is either truly ignorant or just trolling. Maybe Barney Fife is just that dumb, I don't know.

In Mississippi where I live, they made a bill that will cover 8 states for 2A sanctuaries, to work together. I can tell you that it is working here. If you notice, the talk is that the south is going to rise again. We’re getting to a point, that I’m scared that it might tear our country apart in sections. You have your looney western states to the left, that wants to control everything, I don’t even know what the northern states have or want yet, then you see the south joining forces. If we don’t wake up soon, our country will be ripped into different sections of different countries.

If actual gun confiscations and strict bans ever occurred on a federal basis then some states would absolutely secede from the union. Most all southern states would, most of the plains states would, most of the Midwest would.....The remaining left coast and New England states would be separated from one another by thousands of miles. My money would be on the unconstitutional laws being immediately rescinded as soon as Secession talk got started.

Gun confiscation will never happen because police and military are pro gun ownership. They can pass laws all day long but no one is going to enforce them

Nobody is seceding from the union. The south isn’t going to rise again and eventually they will disarm us.

Actually I think at least one state already has a law on the books (Texas I think) that if the individual right to bear arms was ever rescinded then they must secede from the union.

They would have to be aided by foreigners in some way to even attempt it. They could use the Not too worried about it since anything crazy should be defeated in the courts.

The UN nor any foreign country is going to send troops into the US to disarm us. It will be done like boiling a lobster, slowly turning the heat up until it’s too late.

Or "nudging" as some progressive from back in the day called it. A little push here, a little push there, then suddenly you are at the edge of the cliff.
