I got an anonymous letter in the mail today that contained a copy of my neighborhood restrictions with the section highlighted that I was in violation of. I recently bought a motorhome and moved my trailer to my house to clean it out and make room for the motorhome in my storage lot. Apparently some busybody didn't like it and decided to threaten me anonymously. WTF is up with people?
BTW I looked at those restrictions and 99% of my neighbors are in violation, like no satellite dishes viewable from the road, no cars parked on the street overnight, landscaping approved by the landscaping committee which doesn't exist and on and on and on.

HOAs are terrible. Tell Karen to mind her own business and pick up after her dog sh#ts. Guarentee the person who sent that doesnt clean up after their dog.

I'd like to know why the busybody didn't just mosey on over & talk to you about what was going on nice like.
Threaten you is a strong word from a neighbor.

Reminds me of a client we have. He got in trouble for something so he combed the regulations for any vagueness, and blew it up where he could.

From what I remember they limited paints to blues, greens, or whites only. So he found a bunch of paints that blue, green, or white, in their name, but weren't that color and rainbows his house. They also limited flag sizes but didnt mention the units. I forget if it was 4 by 2 or something like that. But he custom ordered one that was that size, but in meters.
He did a couple other things. Eventually he got so ridiculous he got them to back off his actual violations just to get him to stop with the bs.

I'll be damned if i ever use my hard earned money to buy a house other people tell me what i can or can't do with it.

I'd like that someone would just ask me to move it out of my driveway as well. Some people are just chicken sh!ts and afraid to talk to people for fear of confrontation. I fully intend to move it within the next few days as I've made arrangements to put it on a dealers lot to sell on consignment, but stupid didn't bother to ask me about my plans. My guess is this person is pretty old as the letter was addressed in cursive writing and Tennessee was abbreviated Tenn.
The little punks better look out when I get (really) old in my neighborhood!

HOA’s are how old people and the unemployed entertain themselves. My buddy got roped into being treasurer for his, they would up having an actual coup by some faction in the neighborhood and the guy elected president acted like he’d won the lottery. The new guy told him he’d never be treasurer again and he said thanks.

As more of the story unfolds, found out the owner of that dog is raising 5 other pit bulls. All of which were in kennels in garage and not very pleasant to others.

I understand it's not just pit bulls that are aggressive and the responsibility falls in the lap of the owner. Although with that said, it seems that the majority of dog related attacks these days are from pit bulls.

I'd walk in... back out.. and shoot that dog right in the head. And then put the owner on notice that any of those others he is breeding gets loose they will meet the same fate.

I went through this with our first house, never again will I live in an HOA.

It's very frustrating. Unfortunately, my hands are tied since it's now a felony (trump's animal cruelty bill in November 2019) if I were to pursue what I want to do. Can't take the risk. Besides, I'm not John Wick.

The pint glasses and the 50cal round bottle opener are all laser etched. Theres 2 beef sticks too that say "Dusty's premium quality meat snacks"....no idea where she got those but the ammo can from "mancrates" had everything but the Vols bar mat. She got that from Amazon. Think I should buy her something too????
