I’d also argue part of where Newk lands is if Minter can come in and be 2018 Minter in ST. They only have one lefty in Smith, so I think that could play a part, even if Newk looks good starting

Picking up his option has always been my stance. But Hamels is 36, I mean I liked the pickup but old pitchers show age at some point

Which is okay in the long run. We need him September/October. We know Newk can be at least average and we got good prospects that can take the fifth spot.

In year 2 of a dynasty League rebuild and traded an expensive Chris Sale for those 2 guys. Took over a bad team least year but it’s been pretty fun. Max and Verdugo are barely above league minimum salary

They definitely tend to get too much credit and blame. But to me, the lack of arm strength is pretty obvious with Fromm, but nobody seems to talk about it. He's a pretty good QB on a great team.
