Mookie is literally their best player since Ted ****ing Williams and for some reason they’re convinced they can’t pay him.

He told them flatly he’s going to FA

I still think I’d take my chances. The Yanks aren’t going to pay him $300M+ and the Dodgers have never shown they will do that. At that point who could afford him? I’d take my chances and keep him and maybe you can get him at $325M I’m February.

I mean when have we seen that though would be my point. I agree they’re probably not gonna compete this year but I mean they could get a wild card spot if things break right.

Maybe listening to the Boston Ringer guys have clouded my brain. I just know I’d be pissed trading Mookie less than two years after winning the WS.
