The Atlanta Braves

I think some of it depends on if Riley convinces them he can hit enough. Camargo freed up to be in a utility role really creates some flexibility.

It really does.

If Riley wins the job in ST, then Camargo gets that last spot. Culberson is Minor League depth.

Also, I really like Camargo, but he’s got something to prove too. He’s got to be better than he was last year.

If Riley can give you .250/.320/.480 with 30 HRs (which would be around be around 5% above league average with a juiced ball) that would be lovely.

Gonna be a rough couple of day for me fellas...

My grandmother who was almost like a second mother to me and was mostly responsible for my love of Braves baseball lost her battle with dementia after 3 years. We are headed to Chattanooga for the visitation and funeral.

If you are the praying type, my family would really appreciate it.
Sorry to hear that, my friend. Remember all the good times.

No way Culberson is part of a 3b platoon.
Didn’t mean to insinuate a platoon. Camargo every day, Culberson for a spot start or two.

But to be honest, the more I think about it, I’m less sure Culberson is a lock to make the roster.

This will probably go the way of the podcast and not be finfished but I’m gonna release a 60 page (one page per team) google doc for an MLB preview on every team hopefully by mid-March.

It’s a minor league deal, so no biggie, but Alonso was terrible last year. I thought he had a lot of promise back when he was just coming up with the Reds.
