Why don’t people want to work the day after the super bowl? It’s usually over by 10pm, National championship can’t say that. Maybe people drink all day before or something?

Need some prayers and stares. My son missed his first day of school today with flu like symptoms. I taught my morning classes and came home to watch him and make sure he drinks water.

A couple hours ago I start to shiver. He's at 102.4, I'm at 101.6 and on sepsis and pneumonia protocol (not as bad as it sounds, just have to be hyper vigilant).

If I'm still too dizzy to drive tomorrow, my wife is taking comp time to take us both to the doctor. Praying it's not flu. Again. I had Flu B a couple weeks ago already.

I do not mind at all! Stones River NMP, McFadden's Farm artillery battery. It is north of the main park but close to where I live. 1800 confederate killed or wounded at McFadden's Ford in about an hour on the morning of January 2, 1863.

I am almost livid with Amazon right now. I've been buying a bunch of stuff from them for close to 20 years and for the most part I've gotten pretty good service and whenever I've had a problem they've bent over backwards to make it right. Today I opened a package of oil filters for my motorhome and there were 2 big diesel filters like I wanted and one little lawnmower filter. First I looked for a phone number to call, nope not gonna happen anymore, leave a number and we'll call you when we fell like it. Second option, do the chat thing, okay let's do it. Got a robot, finally I got a literal bitch in real time and long story short they just suck at customer service anymore and I'm not going to buy one damn thing from them anymore when I can get it from Walmart for the same price.

Yeah but then you have to go to WalMart and be around people who go to WalMart.

You must be doing it wrong. They’ve never given me any hassle on wrong stuff.

I did hear a tale from a woman at work who’s son ordered a chest of drawers from Wayfair. One of the drawers was scratched so he called to get a replacement. They told him we’ll send you a brand new unit, just take a picture of the current one destroyed in a dumpster. He said it’s only got a scratch on one drawer. They said no replacement without doing that so he did. Seems like they’d say donate it instead and take a picture of that.
