Non-Lady Vol Basketball News 2025-26

Good sign for Oregon that Boley seems to have found her stroke. They have been playing off and she made them pay twice already.

If she gets back on track they won’t lose another game this season.

Georgia playing our game against MSST. Winning in a lot of ways and State is shooting terrible. But they are down double digits due to 13 turnovers in the first half so far. MSST has zero.

There was a team at Gampel tonight playing Geno's offense and executing it perfectly.

Unfortuately for UConn, that team was wearing green and yellow.

Sorry I missed it. But like I always say after a rare CT loss, those Huskies players have nothing to hang their heads about. Jeez... and what I wouldn’t give to have THEIR fans’ worries right now! lol

Seriously, they’ll still make the FF this year if they end up in Louisville’s bracket as projected. I wouldn’t even worry about this game if I were a CT fan.

Gonna watch it later to see Ionescu. That woman is a player!

Ionescu almost had her 35th Triple D

its hard to believe oregon even has a loss its like a wnba team

The loss to Louisville was at the Paradise Jam, and Louisville is a solid team. Louisville fell behind but Waltz made some changes and his team outshot the Ducks the rest of the way.

At Arizona State they were done in by foul problems, Their top three players had four fouls and Graves had to go to his non existent bench (they had zero points and zero rebounds against UConn) early and often (53 minutes!). Their road games against Arizona and Oregon State were more competitive than the game at UConn tonight. But let's remember that UConn has been very inconsistent and hasn't beat a Top 10 caliber team yet and if the Huskies don't play well against South Carolina they might not wind up in the Top 10 themselves.

Oregon looked great. Worst loss ever at home for UConn. I'm interested to see how the players respond. Reporters were talking about how in 2007 Sylvia Fowles destroyed Tina Charles. That was the turning point in Tina's career. Some are hoping for something similar from the Oregon beat down.
