Yes, but my point is that Obama's approval ratings were directly correlated to the unemployment rate and to the state of the economy (as the approval ratings of most Presidents are). As the unemployment rate went down, Obama's approval ratings went up. As the economy grew, so did Obama's approval ratings. We were nearing the end of the Great Recession at this same point in Obama's presidency. It doesn't seem to matter how strong the economy gets under Donald Trump, his approval ratings are never going to change very much. It isn't practical to blame all of that on Democrats and the media. If you are capable of being honest about this, then at least some of the responsibility for those stagnant poll numbers should be placed on Donald Trump's conduct and lack of decorum.
