Vols in the XFL?

Haven't even really thought about the XFL TBH. Don't mean to derail the thread but what a disappointment Khalil McKenzie ended up being, dude seemed to have the tools to really be dominant.
The hype was real when he signed here. No doubt about that.

I'll probably check out the XFL. I'm not sure whether it will hold my interest, but I'll give it a shot.

Something to pass the time for sure. Absolutely can't wait for our season to start, haven't been this excited in many years!

Some interesting rule differences for sure.
Even if the league tanks, I could see a couple of the new things making to the NFL.
Especially the way OT is going to be handled...kind of a hybrid from the college and the NFL, but definitely guarantees someone will win and still be 'fair'.

Anybody have a list?

I’ve seen: Dallas Thomas, Corey Vereen, Justin Martin, Khalil McKenzie.

I read where Corey Vereen decided not to play because of low pay. He said he was making way more money as a software developer and it wasn't worth the risk to make 27,000 to 55,000 after taxes basically. It was an ESPN article if I remember correctly.

Lots of highly recruited guys on that list. It looks like Auburn and Florida are leading the way. I only see two from Alabama... more evidence that Saban evaluates and develops better than anyone. His guys are in the NFL.

Vince McMahon still over this league? I'd like to see a minor league prep league...I just don't think someone should have to go to college if they want to make a living playing football...I also don't think it would destroy the college game

I think if he'd have made the switch to o-line sooner, he would have have been more productive.

He is still the owner yes. I don't think they are trying to be the NFL's minor leagues. It seems like they want to compete with the NFL.

I do think there is a window for them right now. Lots of people have been turned off by the NFL, and their protesters. The XFL is taking a hard stance against protests during games. So I think if they put a decent product on the field. They could be successful this time.

Coach Jim Zorn is my POC with the Dragons. I kinda knew a little about him, but I has no idea the LEGEND he is in Seattle. One of my painters was telling me about his past, but kept saying I'm not sure, and I think. So I called coach on speaker phone, and asked how he came to be "the first Seahawk". He took about 30 minutes to tell us his story with the NFL, his path to Seattle, his first NFL contract. He is such a class act, and really nice guy. I am truly blessed to have gotten to know him.

A couple weeks ago we got a few inches of snow. I was the last one in the stadium. The Seattle Center is adjacent to the stadium, and was playing some opera. Growing up an "athlete" I couldn't help but to go run some routes in the fresh snow on the field. I wound up diving over imaginary O-lines for TDs. Catching fades in the back of the end zone. Returning kick-offs to the house. All the while the only sounds in the stadium was the soft opera, and my feet crushing the snow. It was a surreal moment that I will never forget! This has been a really cool project!!
