These would be very encouraging indicators for most presidents, except that there is nothing to show that the majority of Americans are giving Trump any credit for it. Trump's own approval ratings are stagnant and they do not correlate with the state of the economy. That is a strong indication that concerns over Trump's conduct are still overriding how people feel about the economy, and the overall state of the country. His own numbers never change very much.

If it's Biden vs Trump... I think Biden wins. Trump would probably defeat Warren or Sanders, but like I have always said, I think Biden gets the nomination. What I posted is 100% on. Trump's approval ratings do not correlate with anything but his own behavior.

Trump's Real Clear Politics Average Approval Rating has always been between 37%-46% since his inauguration. He is currently in the high end of that spectrum, but still very much within the spectrum at 44.6%. He has a low ceiling and has never broken through it. You can blame the media and Democrats for whatever you wish, but the truth is that Trump contributes to most of this with his behavior on Twitter and at his rallies. He is petty and immature.
