'20 TX RB Zachary Evans

He'd get more than enough touches here in my opinion, don't really have a back like him as far as his blend of size, power, and speed

He’d get far more touches at A&M. A&M was down to 1 scholarship RB (Spiller) in the bowl game. They had Ainias Smith (WR) run some on sweeps.

The rb’s in their 2020 class are Devin Achane (more of a scat back / slot receiver), Deondre Jackson (lower rated physical rb), and Earnest Crownover (juco RB who will be used more as a FB).

Playing time would be wide-ass open for Evans at A&M. Fisher’s offenses have always been built off of a strong running game and play-action passes to the TE’s to open up the receivers.

Brian Herrian got plenty of carries along side Swift last season.
BH got a lot of carries when DeAndre was hurt.. And didn't do much with them. He was a great back and DGD but he was not what UGA is used to having in the 1-2 punch area. Next season we might be able to get back to it with Zamir, KMack, Cook and Milton but I don't see it being as effective as it has been due to the drop off we expect from our line.

We get his primary recruiter and his mom has always wanted him to get away from home, but now the recruiting sites are giving A&M the best chance to land him. Am I missing something? Because this doesn't add up
My interpretation is that he is the one that wants out of Texas

I agree after listening for the first time today
He literally takes everything he reads on here, 247 and volquest then reports it as he got it from his inside sources. He got busted in a lie the other day, he reported Pruitt and several staff members were in Houston visiting Evan's come to find out Pruitt was in town lol and UT had no one in Texas.

This sounds crazy for me to say but part of me hopes he picks another school. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to him in orange. There’s no doubt he’s a very gifted athlete. The concern I have, outside of the long, strange trip his recruitment has gone, is the uncertainly we‘ll have to deal with until he arrives in Knoxville. To me it’s a win-win situation regardless of what happens.

You’re right. That does sound crazy!

I'm guessing that since ZE cannot sign an LOI and he apparently is not fully academically qualified yet ... he will not publicly commit anywhere on NSD. When/If he does eventually qualify, he will just show up on a campus somewhere in May/June (similar to how Bryce Thompson arrived at UT).

I’d love to see him in orange, but he’s one that I’ll be happy either way. My only concern if he picks UT is the waiting period for him to arrive on campus. I have a feeling the drama will not end until June with his recruitment.

Someone explain how it's possible to graduate early but not be qualified to enroll at UT
