The Atlanta Braves

Lol you’re thinking 9ers? DONT DO IT
You see, one of the main things to consider when betting the NFL is what is the most failcon thing that could possibly happen? Kyle Shanahan rinsing the stench of that franchise off of him in glorious super bowl redemption? ✅

So it’s weighing on me

I see the logic in that, but the other side of the equation is pretty compelling. Mahomes is closest QB I’ve ever seen to Peyton in his prime. He is one of 3 (dare I say likely) Hall of Famers on that side of the ball. He doesn’t take hits, his o line holds him up, if you blitz him it’s SUICIDE. And their defense has play a lot makers. San Fran won’t keep up for 4 quarters.

SF doesn’t have to blitz

The back end in that slaw zone trying to handle chiefs seam speed is the only point of contention

Tyreek will get his, if not through the air, then through the ground/return game. But even if they can contain the speed, which they can’t, who is going to stop Kelce in the intermediate?

If you've got the time (I was making a 4 hour drive home yesterday afternoon/evening) Chris Long has a podcast that I'd highly recommend where he goes through all the ins and outs of both defenses and how they can/should defend each offense. He admits that his breakdown of the secondary and coverage aspects aren't terribly in depth, pretty much just high level stuff, but his analysis of the d-line concepts for both teams is absolutely fascinating.
