I would believe so. Though, I couldn't tell you overall class rankings. I usually just follow individual battles.
Oh...so we outrecruited Clemson and Michigan last year?

Edit: I checked...we’re 14th and they’re 41st. So if we “individual” for “individual” we thumpin that bear azz! 😎

We certainly out recruited their ass for Crouch. That was a special recruitment. So much fun to follow and dig into.

Good, the way it should be. But now it's time to thump Florida and Georgia's ass too

I mean I would hope any UT fan would be concerned about being out recruited by Ole Miss. They ain't exactly Alabama, LSU, or Auburn.

Seven years ago, Ole Miss outrecruited UF and others for Nkemdiche, OU and others for Treadwell, and Bama, UGA, and others for Tunsil. Ole Miss didn't seem to have the program to compete with the above mentioned schools for this top talent either. But, of course stuff happens in recruiting and bagmen still exist. Call it a huge failure if you want. I'd just call it a miss and go on to the next one.

The point with Evans is, don't let Ole Miss of all programs beat you for him. I don't care if he "wasn't even on our radar" two weeks ago. You've found yourself in a great position , do what you have to. I'm also incredibly tired of being "outbidded" the people around this program have a lot of damn money. Gotta start pulling together.

I said this in another thread - I don't get why we are casting some of these situations as massive failures. It is NOT the case that UT has been an NFL, SEC Championship factory for the last 10 years... the fact that we have a recruiting class as good as we do now is just amazing, especially given the season we just had (awful start when most seniors are narrowing down choices).

I completely understand what you're saying. Me saying it would be a huge failure doesn't mean out staff sucks or they should be fired. It would be a big miss, but ultimately they would have no choice but to move on. Is what it is.

Because if we don't hold our self to the standard we know we can be, then we will never ever get back to that standard. Once you let yourself slip, you slip. UT needs to still have the mindset of a championship program. It's that simple, I don't care how long it's been.

Trying to educate people about something you don't really follow. Using only loose semantic arguments. Let me ask the waiter if they can bring you a booster seat.

Well duh. We are not the coaches, they don't seem to be avoiding 5 stars because we have no chance or something - they have that mindset. What I am saying here is we as fans shouldn't be surprised when we get beat for top recruits, even when our trend seems to be upward. We are still re-building the brand.

Need to prove it on the field in 2020.

All I've done is state the simple truth. If you're one of the people that dont like said truth, I'm sorry but you're the one that needs a booster seat.

We as fans don't need to let our view of the program slip either, fans have more power than you believe.

In fairness we are tied with Miami for sending the most players to the Superbowl with 65. We have players on both teams this year.

This guy sure does change his mind a lot.

Recruits in 2020 don't care about this as much. How many players have we had drafted in rounds 1-3 the last 5 years? You can probably count it on one hand, whereas LSU, Bama, Georgia, Florida, Auburn have about 5 per year, every single year.
