Anytime we don't land a recruit is techinally a failure. It happens to every staff. So no, I'm not wrong.

Backpedaling a little there. Definitely softening your original stance. Bottom line, went from nowhere with this kid to being a final 2-3 choice/destination for him. Staff did great job gaining his interest, let’s see if they can close the deal and get him to Knoxville. They certainly don’t deserve derision and getting bashed if he goes elsewhere imo.

It’s actually the opposite. He’s not very “reachable” for college coaches. He hates the recruiting process and doesn’t communicate with coaches pretty much at all. Do you think Tennessee got in with him because it’s easy or nobody else wants him? He cancelled Florida and Florida State visits to visit Tennessee. You are tying a little to hard right now
