2020 Presidential Race

To each his own.
You live in the trash others buy and freely give up your right to help determine how repulsive the trash is (or isn't).
I'm not sure you see the forest or the trees.
No. I am expressing my right. Neither Hilary nor Trump deserved my vote. Ergo I didnt vote. This election doesnt look any better. I am expressing my opinion. Neither is acceptable. I will not back one candidate over the other if I dont actually support/believe them.

You on the other hand are begging for the next Trump.

I also have a fundamental belief that my vote (opinion) should not dictate what anyone else does/experiences/can do. My opinion is no more valid than any one elses, just like theirs is not better than mine. Our version of democracy doesnt ensure equality, otherwise every vote would actually determine something. Instead our vote only means something if you are the majority, and winner take all doesnt sound like any type of equality to me.

You supported bernie and when the DNC told you to vote for Hillary, you did.
You seriously aren't that dumb. (I'm almost positive - put I'm admittedly wavering)
When the DNC happened to believe the same thing I did, the DNC and I supported the same thing.
When the DNC did not believe as I did, the DNC and I did not support the same thing.

It just so happens that the DNC is frequently on the same page as am I. They even frequently come up with the same talking points which I had been using well before them. They may be spying on me.

I have never believed in or supported a candidate 100% across the board.
How strongly do you have to support/believe in a candidate before it's worth your vote? Give it a percentage.
A vote that is not in the majority still counts. A candidate winning with 73% of the vote will have more "power" and feel more validated than a candidate who wins with 46% of the vote.

So you did exactly what the DNC told you to.

LOL....
To the same degree that your are doing exactly what I tell you to do when you pull for UT.
I'll give you a head start.
I demand that you watch UT's season opener and pull for them to win.
I also demand that you respond to this post.
Finally I demand that you continue to normalize and support Trump so the majority can see the idiocy of the Trumpers.
Now be a good subject and run off and do as you are told.

That's how stupid your assertions are.

You get awfully defensive when confronted with your sheepishness.

I would say about 60% maybe 70%. Really I have a couple key issues that I wont budge on. And no one lines up with all of those.
1. Budget (a real balanced budget, with numbers)
2. Rights (this is more wide ranging than 2a)
3. Foreign wars (get us out of them)

There are a number of personal things that wouldnt keep me from voting a candidate even though I am 100% against them. Abortion, government supported healthcare, probably something else.

Then there are some preferred, and then some that I am actually indifferent on. But it pretty much starts and stops with those three.

I dont know how I would handle someone who had the top three and nothing else though.

How much does your shrink charge per hour?

Number one is a pipe dream., You will never cast a vote .

If I could get the other two I would be pretty happy. Especially if they just dont make thing worse. I can say that because I know it's not a problem solved in one two or probably even 10 terms. I would take some major steps towards that.

It will take both parties working together on number one, and I can't see that at this point. One party will beat the other over the head with SS or Medicare cuts.
