I've never doubted that part, I just don't think he's as plugged in to recruiting as is purported and I think the cult-like following is a little over the top. To say you don't put much stock in his recruiting updates is not to say he is a bad person or to not acknowledge that he has done nice things for people no matter how many times his most ardent supporters attempt to resurrect that strawman.

One advantage I had not thought about is you can get a direct flight from Knoxville to Hobby or Bush in Houston. Try that in Athens Georgia. It takes at least an hour or two to get to the Atlanta airport depending on traffic.
