My friend in Houston who knows Evans family very well texted me yesterday evening since he knows I'm a Vol and says he keeps hearing it's Vols or LSU. He says he is attending some kind of family gathering this evening and he thinks he is going to make some kind of decision, not sure what that means. He says Georgia tried to strong arm him and ban him from signing with any SEC team. Parents are encouraging him to go as far away from Texas as possible and that's why all Texas school are out of this race. TIFWIW

Been a rumor for a while that Pruitt tried to fight Richt not sure of the reasons though. The FSU stuff is another rumor having to do with Pruitt’s wife finding out about him and an FSU coed while he was DC there

Vols should have a pretty good pitch to give. Come in your FR year and join a 5* QB and run behind four 5* O Line with dozens of games of combined SEC starts and, unlike UGA, you don’t have multiple other 5* backs on the depth chart to beat out.

Kirby knows he cannot hold Pruitt’s jockstrap when it comes to coaching. He knows when Pruitt gets a legit roster, his time is done in Georgia.

The fight was supposedly over Richt not doing what needed to be done to take the next step. Pruitt is largely responsible for getting them several things they needed.
Heroic at the time but typical butthurt reversal when he's gone.

This is excellent news! I might even put my CB on the Vols now. Sounds like he’s got a chip on his shoulder against Georgia, and what better way to deal with that than to sign with their rival and play against them for the next 3-4 years.
