In reality, most fans of most schools won't ever know that their school was even recruiting Player X if they don't choose their school. Probably 10% or less of a school's fanbase actually follows recruiting to a sufficient level to know if their school even had a shot. So when they think they are "shocking the world", they are really only shocking a fraction of the world while everyone else continues on obliviously unshocked.

I am just assuming that we will be a bubble team come March. How does it work if we were to beat Kansas this weekend? Will the committee look at that as a quality win, or will they look at it as us beating a team that had at least three players suspended?

While I think you are right and those should be the minimum suspensions, as well as those coming off the bench, I would almost guarantee the only player who doesn’t play on Saturday is De Sousa, who started the whole thing. This will be swept under a rug because they are Kansas, while JJ got suspended a half for accidentally stepping on someone’s face and then was ridiculed by the media for the longest that it was intentional and the penalty should be worse.

I think most/all of the starters were on the bench at that point in the game. Leaving the bench even to break up the fight might get them a half game suspension, minimum.

Any win at KU is a big win. It would beat the alternative.

Not gonna lie, I've stopped paying attention, at least until we make the top 5 or something. Even then, I scroll a lot till final 3.

And to tweet "show me some love" is the quickest way to guarantee that I never open your Twitter page.

Win on the road against a top 75 team is a quad 1 win. Big opportunity for us

That's not what happened. You should find the video of the final 22 seconds and you'll see the whole thing. Kansas was running out the final 22 seconds in a blowout and a KS freshman stole the ball and tried to score. Bottom line, he didn't score and the fight started :cool::cool::cool::cool:. The worst part of all this is that it all took place in the handicap section behind one of the baskets. Not a good look.

They were brought back to shoot technical fouls. I also believe that was very important because the brawl would have occurred "during" the game. That may play into game suspensions from the conference and maybe the NCAA.
