Predictions for Uros tonight?

I have absolutely no idea, but I'll go with 9 pts, 6 rebounds, 1 block.

We have to have a top 5-10 class next year in order to take the next step
The way this staff has recruited through the worst of times, I have no doubt a 9-3 type season (assuming no Ga St type/early season losses) will result in a top 10 class.

Go win and the recruits will come. A monster OL, Senior JG or BM/HB, and a veteran DL, Toots, and veteran secondary...done deal imo. Pruitt is building this program up across the board. And that will turn top 15 classes into top 10 this cycle. Maybe top 5 the next.

Tennessee’s roster still won’t be close talent wise to UGA or UF next year. I agree, recruiting is going to have to hit another level if we’re going to get up there with those programs. Solid QB play could definitely help make some of that difference up though. Think we’ll be in that 7-9 win range next year. Could still see us dropping one of South Carolina or Kentucky.

you suck

I liked it more probably for many of the reasons you didn't like it. Most star wars movies just rehash the same themes and stories pretty much. I enjoy them all but it was nice to have one kinda go against it. I like how it, when everything seems to be leading to what you would expect from insert star wars movie here, it takes a hard left turn. You talked about how Luke's decisions in that movie go against what was already established as his m.o. so to speak from all the previous movies. Because that's more real imo. People change irl like that based on experiences. Just because he wouldn't have done it in return of the jedi means nothing to what he would choose in later movies other than to show his internal conflicts and hippocrasies that we all experience. I'm pretty sure empire had a lot of people complaining about it at the time of release as well and just like empire, last jedi was intending to further the conflict of the story. Which I think it did. And did well imo. I really enjoyed both jj Abrams movies too. But they felt more like an homage or tribute to the originals and super nostalgic whereas last jedi felt more original by evolving the themes created by Lucas instead of copying them.

It was clear Johnson was trying to subvert expectations. I just think he did it too often and at the expense of too much.

Changing a character for the sake of conflict is understandable, but I question doing it the way he did. Taking an iconic, generational hero and deciding to make him a family-foresaking coward was not the direction I would have chosen. I think it's pretty understandable many fans question this decision.

I also think that hard left put Episode IX in a tough spot.

Still not sure what to make of the contradictory theme choices the movie created.

But I do sincerely appreciate your thoughtful response. I usually don't question the preferences of others. This one just makes me scratch my head more than most.

I think that's a fair assessment. Going to come down to QB play and staying healthy to get to 9 wins.
