2020 Presidential Race

I’m waiting on Luther to come in guns a blazing , pointing out that propaganda she’s spewing out her mouth to the masses .
Our planet will be much better off if Trump doesn't win in 2020.
Our planet would have been better off if Trump had lost in 2016.

To say that survival of the planet is at stake, may be a stretch; it's hard to say for sure.
Trump does unquestionably put the planet at much greater risk.

How's that??????? And the kicker is......I actually believe it to be true.

So you are not going to denounce it’s as propaganda and fear mongering then ?

First, she didn't say the survival of the planet depended on the 2020 election.
It was an intentionally misleading headline.
Her actual quote from the article is:
“So I want to thank you all for being here. You know, I think we all know that 2020 election is not just about the next 4 years, not just about the next 8 years. The 2020 election may well be about the survival of our planet, so thank you for being here. Thank you for being part of this fight.”

She said it may well be. I kind of agree with her but would have said it a little differently.
Something like, "the 2020 election will impact the health and well being of the planet for generations to come."

So that’s a no ? It’s not fear mongering and propaganda ?

Wrong on both counts.

You WILL lose again in 2020, and if ya'll keep this progressive nonsense up you will be a distant memory in 2024. Fine by me.

The planet is fine... even if Hillary would have won in 2016.

I'm just not so sure the Republic would have survived...

Maybe a little fear mongering but I don't view it as propaganda.
I view the 2020 election as potentially having a huge impact on the future of the planet.

It’s an interesting dichotomy and the reason why I pressed for your answer .

PROPAGANDA....information , especially of a BIASED or misleading nature , used to publicize a particular political cause or view point .

FEAR MONGERING... the action of deliberately arousing public fear or alarm about a particular issue .

It seems if though , from your answer , something is only called propaganda if you don’t believe it to be true . If it lines up with what you believe , it’s just subjective truth . The thing you said might be a little fear mongering , by definition , was in fact total fear mongering .
Not dogging you here, I was just curious about the thought process .

She didn't really even pretend to offer any information in the statement, that's why I said it wasn't propaganda.
She was playing off of peoples fears (concerns) about the environment.
Kind of like right wingers saying dems. are going to take your guns and kill babies after they are born.
I find Warren's comments much more relevant and truthful than those.

... I find anyone saying any election that may well be about the survival of our planet so they can get votes or keep someone else from getting votes , is pushing propaganda and fear mongering both . Just being honest .

The state of Virginia disagrees with your post

I understand, but like I said, I find it more appropriate than "they're going to take your guns" or "they're for killing babies."
And that's just me being honest.

Question. How are you (the campaign) getting these cell phone numbers? Are they party members or what?
Sorry for the delay in answering. The numbers I get for Tennessee are people that have signed up on Pete's website. As far as other states, those come from the campaign through an app we use. They are traditional voter lists through the DNC and DCCC, plus sign-ups at events and Pete's website.

What specific policy has Trump championed or implemented that you feel is harmful to the health and well being of the world?
