I have not paid any attention to Holiday. That kind of speed at QB would be interesting to see. I wonder if he stays at QB? The kid can flat move.

Did you watch him play against Temple (7-17, 56 yards, 0 td, 1 int)?
How about against Michigan (5-10, 62 yards, 0 td, 1 int)?
And then there was Michigan State (8-21, 74 yards, 0 tds) and Indiana (4-12, 43 yards, 0 tds, 1 int) and Iowa (6-15, 47 yards, 0 td, 1 int) and .......

Maurer seems to have the aggressive mentality I'd love, but needs to be smarter on throwing into coverage. JG has the knowledge of what he needs to do, if he can just do it a half second sooner. Hard to see a freshman QB coming in and taking over, but if he's good enough I hope we roll with it.

And I understand that, I honestly do. I’m beyond tired of all the Guarantano poor play and drama, I think the staff needs to move on from him, it’s clear he’s not the answer. But let’s not declare a guy who’s had even less success throwing the ball vs weaker competition the answer. Gonna have to be either Maurer or Bailey in 2020 imho.

Hill was much better than Maurer.
He has as good a shot behind JG and Bailey as anyone.
