My son is very similar. Excellent football player, very advanced physically for his age, and has a great football IQ. He’s just super hard on hisself, and we’ve worked more on mental training than physical with him.Reminds me of my son. He is a phenomenal athlete. Growing up playing baseball people nicknamed him Muscle Man and Homerun King. We had visions of a baseball scholarship. But he thought he was terrible and never did anything good enough to please himself. Always was thinking about how he should do something then critiquing how he should have done it better. By the time he got to high school he didn't even want to play. (He got over football real quick. His first game was at QB, and a huge South Pittsburgh player was put at LB so he could blitz lol.)
Not ignoring you, I haven't been watching this year. Not a real big BB fan and knew it would be a disappointing season compared to last and next season.
Not adding any unnecessary disappointment to my life.
From reading the theme posts, I'm convinced this is similar to how people are wanting to see the Vols enter.
This is what I am curious about… How will he be getting to be in the same system for a second year for the first time in his career? In all honesty, as much as he frustrates all of us, we need to hope that he takes a huge leap and can be the starter and perform at the level that they see he does in practice. If so, we could be in for a special year. That is unless Bailey Is another Trevor Lawrence and leads us to the national championship as a true freshman, in which case, we will all allow that! The want for him to transfer is baffling to me. I think he deserves a shot at QB next year but he hasn't played himself to be named the starter coming into spring. Plays were there, he just missed them. 10 guys do their job more often. But...but...with this being the first year hes had the same OC, he deserves his shot and I personally wont be mad if he wins it
Some may need that, I think we need to move forward and play the newer, higher ceiling QBs.This is what I am curious about… How will he be getting to be in the same system for a second year for the first time in his career?
