Man people be getting upset over a half ass non complement of jg. All that was said was in the last 6 games jg arguably wasn't as bad as fromm. People are responding like d4h claimed jg was gonna be a 9 time all pro 12 time pro bowler and win 7 super bowls. The hate is real. This is why the OCD pics are getting dropped in random threads. Hahahaha
The want for him to transfer is baffling to me. I think he deserves a shot at QB next year but he hasn't played himself to be named the starter coming into spring. Plays were there, he just missed them. 10 guys do their job more often. But...but...with this being the first year hes had the same OC, he deserves his shot and I personally wont be mad if he wins itJG was never in danger of getting in the heisman hunt, but he also played most of the last half if the year with a broken hand and still put up similar numbers to Fromm. I think Fromm was the victim of OC change and the fact that Coley was not good.
The JG hate is just baffling. Kid is a VFL and deserves better than what he gets on here from some posters.

I can't stand it when a QB playing his 3rd year can't lead a RB on a pass 5-6 yds. away. Sometimes at their feet and worse yet behind them. Doubt I ever fiqure him out.

That’s interesting. Where did JS say that? All indications from the service sites are that he signed. NCAA should just allow 1 or 2 specialist scholarships per year, but that’s a different discussionOr did he have good info? Simonton has also said he didn't actually sign (this was after esd). Idk but it seemed weird how adamant LAV was. Hopefully he wasn't leaking info he wasn't supposed to be and got in trouble or something.
Our coaches never understood what Spurrier did. Playing conservatively "not to lose" with rosters made up of super talented, super aggressive kids was always going to be a mistake...those rosters were just not wired to play like that. That is why he owned Fulmer despite Fulmer having just as much or more talent.
Conversely...look at what JP and DA did in the Gator..on that last series they were sitting back, and Ramsey was moving them down the field quickly. Then they said eff it and sent the house and shut that isht down. Chavis would have played mustang and we would have lost.
It's not like people that support him are out there bringing it up every hour in every thread either. But click on a thread of a rb we're not even in on and boom jg debate. Not even debating different points. More like a competition of who can bash him the best. I like off topic as much as anyone but when its the same thing in every thread it's annoying. They never mention the heart though, just the sucking at football part. Ad nauseam.
Not impressed. Hope UGA burns

JG has arm talent, he's a tough SOB, and he has a good attitude. I dont believe he has accuracy issues from mechanics. He has timing issues because he appears to hitch and second guess himself prior to a lot of throws.
He's gun shy and he doesn't have the dual threat athleticism to offset that. When things go sideways he typically spirals down and he's not capable of resetting himself mentally barring some external intervention.
He could learn some incredibly difficult skills to acquire and fix his problem or it could persist and his football career will end after next year. Everything I've seen about him would indicate that he's going to try to do his part to get better. That may just not be enough.
Regardless he's a VFL, he did things the right way, and his acquired toughness will weigh to his benefit for whatever comes next for him in life.
Reminds me of my son. He is a phenomenal athlete. Growing up playing baseball people nicknamed him Muscle Man and Homerun King. We had visions of a baseball scholarship. But he thought he was terrible and never did anything good enough to please himself. Always was thinking about how he should do something then critiquing how he should have done it better. By the time he got to high school he didn't even want to play. (He got over football real quick. His first game was at QB, and a huge South Pittsburgh player was put at LB so he could blitz lol.)I don't believe that. I hear people say that all the time, but I now believe that it is a misread of his body language/demeanor.
After seeing how emotional he was after several games..I will never believe that "not caring enough/disengaged" is his problem.
.I now believe that the problem is that he is constantly in his own head...in other words he thinks/worries too much instead of just doing.
I’m wondering if Cade’s attorney is holding the can of lighter fuel and that’s why he’s so confident in the waiver.
Just how effed up does something have to be to peg the wierd-****-o-meter for a lawyer, since Mars said he’s never seen a situation like that and hopes he never sees it again?![]()
Having four different bosses in four years teaching you four different ways to do your job would probably get in your head too. I think JG was a major reason we weren't 10-3 this year, but I also can see why he might be struggling.
