"It's not much, but JG played this 1 minute of football that was better than Fromm's worst minute all year"Man people be getting upset over a half ass non complement of jg. All that was said was in the last 6 games jg arguably wasn't as bad as fromm. People are responding like d4h claimed jg was gonna be a 9 time all pro 12 time pro bowler and win 7 super bowls. The hate is real. This is why the OCD pics are getting dropped in random threads. Hahahaha
I don't believe that. I hear people say that all the time, but I now believe that it is a misread of his body language/demeanor.Does he try hard? He seems disengaged in most games....
Definitely more of a running threat than Fromm, but he's not going to be a Lamar Jackson or anything. Looking at individual games he had 9 carries for 17 yards vs Elon, 12 for 23 vs Syracuse, 9 for 13 against Louisville. In ACC play he only threw 12 tds and 9 ints.
You don't like it...don't read it. The QB situation is probably the biggest factor in if we have a "really good-great"..."exceeded expectations".."Moved the program vastly forward"...kind of season, or a disappointing.."Kick in the nads" kind of season where we lose a couple of games we shouldn't, or don't win big games that we could have..because of horrid QB play. This complete obsession with JG in this forum is really worrisome. All day, every day, in every thread. Can y'all please come to a conclusion on if he sucks or not, and move on to something else? I know, if I don't like it, I can go to the FF, or use ignore, or keep scrolling, whatever, but it really is out of control. Tia.
Of those 3 games I mentioned he was sacked 0 times against Elon, once against Syracuse, and twice against Louisville. Wake had a good OL.I really like the way the nfl does stats as they don’t count sack yards against running totals for QBs. I wonder his different those yards would look without sacks
Very possible
I hope we don’t see a new OC that will make my thinking more likely correct
Given the current perception of Georgia's program, I doubt Kirby will be able to hire a top notch offensive coordinator.
The image of Kirby has taken a hard fall. I think Kirby will start to fade and will keep on fading.
Our coaches never understood what Spurrier did. Playing conservatively "not to lose" with rosters made up of super talented, super aggressive kids was always going to be a mistake...those rosters were just not wired to play like that. That is why he owned Fulmer despite Fulmer having just as much or more talent.Finished watching the 1998 Florida vs Tennessee game. Man I forgot how frustrating 3rd and Chavis was. Our defense was loaded with talent and giving up 3rd and long for touchdowns. Sure we won the game because Al Wilson and company refused to lose. Defense forced 5 turnovers but it was obvious how we were out coached. Of course Florida had Bob Stoops and Steve Spurrier so how could anyone out coach them?

Conversely...look at what JP and DA did in the Gator..on that last series they were sitting back, and Ramsey was moving them down the field quickly. Then they said eff it and sent the house and shut that isht down. Chavis would have played mustang and we would have lost.
