I don't believe that. I hear people say that all the time, but I now believe that it is a misread of his body language/demeanor.

After seeing how emotional he was after several games..I will never believe that "not caring enough/disengaged" is his problem.

.I now believe that the problem is that he is constantly in his own head...in other words he thinks/worries too much instead of just doing.

I really like the way the nfl does stats as they don’t count sack yards against running totals for QBs. I wonder how different those yards would look without sacks

You don't like it...don't read it. The QB situation is probably the biggest factor in if we have a "really good-great"..."exceeded expectations".."Moved the program vastly forward"...kind of season, or a disappointing.."Kick in the nads" kind of season where we lose a couple of games we shouldn't, or don't win big games that we could have..because of horrid QB play.


Everybody knows that, and hence the apprehension and never ending talk about JG...a lot if us know that he is not going to cut it...he just isn't.

We need him off the bench, he inexplicably plays well from there. He is a very valuable part of the team...but if we depend on him to have a really good season, and knock off a couple of the big dogs of tbe SEC standing in our way...We are going to be disappointed.

Of those 3 games I mentioned he was sacked 0 times against Elon, once against Syracuse, and twice against Louisville. Wake had a good OL.

Good info.
So from that it appears he is an occasional runner at best.

That will help Ga some but maybe not as much as I originally thought

Given the current perception of Georgia's program, I doubt Kirby will be able to hire a top notch offensive coordinator.


The image of Kirby has taken a hard fall. I think Kirby will start to fade and will keep on fading.

Oh I think you are over blowing the damage to that perception. A new OC would see it as chance to win a natty and get a lot of credit.

YAC was about gone last season until A&M prompted Graham to Co-OC. I don’t know if we can offer that title but I know Pruitt can offer more than 550K.

Our coaches never understood what Spurrier did. Playing conservatively "not to lose" with rosters made up of super talented, super aggressive kids was always going to be a mistake...those rosters were just not wired to play like that. That is why he owned Fulmer despite Fulmer having just as much or more talent.

Conversely...look at what JP and DA did in the Gator..on that last series they were sitting back, and Ramsey was moving them down the field quickly. Then they said eff it and sent the house and shut that isht down. Chavis would have played mustang and we would have lost.
