Still have one of those in mom’s basement. No idea how many times we got thrown off that thing.I also had a horse that was suspended in air on a frame and attached with heavy springs. You held onto handles coming out of his ears and rocked back and forth, and up and down.
RIP Neal Peart
i get diarrhea just from walking in there. I can honestly say I have never had anything from Krystals or White Castle. the smell of that place is disgusting.Fact. I used to love Krystals. Still do. But nowadays, a bag of Krystals is a guaranteed Crapnado within two hours.

i need a pressure washer bath to get the airborne grease off me.
last time i was in there was in the prime of my eating career. 18 years old, running 7 miles a day, and probably eating 4k calories a day too. I would eat just about anything you put in front of me.I used to eat a lot of Ks when I was younger , now if I get anything from them it’s chicken sammiches not that meat of theirs .

my family never went there, so I have no ties to it.Ha. Yep. Back when I was a young buck, my parents and I used to go to the Krystals on Clinton Highway. For me, it was so much fun watching them cook the burgers right in front of us, and then eating them right after they came off the grill.
I remember the time the roof on the old K-Mart there caught fire while we were eating dinner. When you're 12 or so years old, it don't get any better than that. Krystals and fire trucks. High cotton, as they used to say....back when you could.
Memories.

I think like a lot of things for me growing it was ruined for me because it was ruined for my dad. He said they used to go a lot when he was younger and he got sick of it. so when we were growing up we never went as kids cause dad wouldnt allow it.
So go live that life now. Eat the local fare in Guatemala, PR, and Biloxi. Red beans and rice; Mudbugs; Ribs; Chicken and Waffles; whatever. Go where you see the crowd at lunch. Odds are, the food there is good.
You only get one pass at life, LV. So live it. What is a small case of the s***s, compared to the fun of filling your belly with food you know you're going to regret eating later?
Think of all the jobs you're creating for the good folks at Charmin...
