Sometimes it's just easier to answer a question once publicly, rather than continue to answer it every time it's asked privately.
If any one was actually asking that question I question their intelligence. He's a kicker. I appreciate what he does, but he's never going to be a first round draft pick.

Still think we’re looking at another 7 or 8 win season next year. QB play will probably be the difference. It’s asking a lot to depend on a true freshman to come in and lead a team to a 9 or 10 win season in this league. Still won’t be on the level of the UGA and UF programs next year. We’ll be on a level playing field with those programs from a talent and depth standpoint in 2021 IMO.
Honestly can't perform a ton worse than QB play this year.

Hard Cap is 25, but that 25 is a 2 year average not 25 -every- year.

So 2019 class had 22 Enrollees + 2 scholarship transfers (24 total) McBride is a counter that UT should have gotten back, meaning 23. However putting Garland on scholarship most likely required him to count against a class. So we'll assume 24 last year still.

That would mean we have a +1, so 2020 class could be 26 and still be a 25 hard cap when averaged against last year's 24.

We signed 21, added Cade & Jones so we'd be at 23 meaning 3 potential scholarships left in this 2020 class IF Cade & Jones are counted against it. So 2 or 3 would be my assumption. Maybe a 4th if we use a blue shirt option on an incoming freshman (like Williamson who is recovering from an ACL tear in October).

Listen here, Beer-Bellied Bandit. You don't know things.

Have you met the Knoxville sports media friend? Of course he was being asked.
I like the kid, but he's no Sebastian Janikowski. Not sure what anyone thinks he gains by declaring for the draft, so seems like a dumb question IMO.

Long Balls Larry was a login on another site a while back.

Curb has surpassed Seinfeld for me in some ways. Such a great show.

I love it too, the thing is everyone knows someone who acts a lot like Larry. He reminds me of a friend of mine who worries and gets upset about everything. He can't make it through the first quarter of a Tennessee game without yelling "We're beat", and storming out. I love messing with him.

Rewatched the Indiana game last night and eh.

Not trying to take a bear on the optimism, just have to see a little more production to go with the potential.
Along with what ever miracle at QB, we need better push for the run game, Gray to play like that all of the time, receivers to get more seperation and don't even want to discuss redzone efficiency. Not to mention the key intangibles we're losing, like JJ.

All possibly DOABLE, but it's not a small list.

well that would be great news....i don't think we ever actually see that broken down from an "official" standpoint, so it's always looked at as wild speculation. "we can sign 25" is just more digestable lol.

but, i'd imagine if we can take 26, we will. would give some credance to the rumors about the RB from Bama as a transfer, or make the Malachai kid more desireable.....assuming we do wind up with HArdy and Beckwith of course.

Think that’s why we are pulling in so much speed at Receiver. Pruitt and staff are tired of not having anyone who can separate themselves with either speed or cuts. (Jennings was slow but he had an over under move he would use on slants and it was nearly impossible to guard)

Unless HB is elite I think 8 is a safe bet. JG won't get us 9 wins tbh
